! now worrries, I'm actually going to take the time right now and follow protocol with ECF before I begin my evening shift. I fall under the category of an "offline supplier" and being that I manufacture items that are represented here, I must register as what I would consider labeled as a "professional" So, all that said, they are being super polite and really just guiding me to what I need to do to be here, which will actually open the door for us to have more detailed dialog about what I create for my good friend Bert. That would be nice, to be able to discuss openly with the people I am doing this for what they feel, and receive input. It's a "win/win" situation.....very professional of them, actually. So, until I receive the "go" from the administrators, here's my au revoir

When you go from being a regular person, to being a supplier, you are on a temporary hold for posting. ITs annoying, but normal. And its not because you did something wrong.
They have to do technical stuff to your account. So you cant get into it til they are done.

Yep it's permanent. I read his post on VW and what the modder said. He's not allowed back according to what I read it said "Never". So sad really. What happened to the 1st amendment? is what I'd like to know.
It's just me Sun, just got in from work and catching up on the thread.
Nope he just got into a heated discussion with the ECF dudes in the thread about the new safety rules they are gonna implement on tube mods. They banned him as I see it for disagreeing with them. The way I figure it we all have opinions..... ya know the verbage. Anyhoo.....I still wanta ask them about the first......
I mean that I understand both sides of the coin.

Yep and what ECF are asking modders of said devices to implement as safety standards on the modders mods. Can't say that I agree with the way they are doing this but I think I understand why they think it is something that needs to be done. I do believe if ECF had handled the whole affair in a different manner that more people would be on the bandwagon instead of debating on wether or not to jump off. If I was a supplier/modder I would be feelling "damned if I do and damned if I don't". I believe that we all want safety first and this is what should be foremost in everyones minds. It's the "who's right or wrong" that has got to stop for the safety of beginners and veterans alike.
It may take me a minute to find the thread but I'll post it when I do.

Willow, while I agree this is a discussion that needs to take place, I don't think Bert's thread is the place. If I'm wrong I will stand corrected, not trying to speak for Bert.
Safety does need to be the bottom line. I know after the Florida explosion, I got rid of my stacked batt mod even though I was using aw batteries which are supposed to be safer than the tenergies that blew because I was scared. I flinched every time I took a puff like I was about to get my face blown off.

No debating here! Just trying to figure out what happened to poor kar and why so I don't make the same mistake! I'd be very sad if I was banned.
