man alive Bert, your hands must be hurting buddy from polishing them all up the way you did, they look amazing buddy !!!

Mwa, HI! you have quite the amazing instruments. What are they called?

Ultimately. The most impressive part of every Trippy Tip is not entirely the artist's work but the precision and accuracy of Bert's groove and polishing work on each tip. He has the eyes of an artist and the accuracy of a scientist. I; as someone that has specialized in cutting and polishing stone and glass for over 15 years. (including the stone work), am Amazed at what Bert can accomplish in such a small scale. It's mind boggling. I look forward to being taught by him next month on how to do this part of the process. It's truly an extremely difficult precision task.

"I was hoping Freddy would show some close up pic of that orb. That thing is super awesome! I wonder how long it would take a couple of skilled artists to do something like this?" by jdubious

jdubious, Hi! :) thanks for wondering, often when people ask me how long it took for me to make something I jokingly respond "well, over ten years" Since that's how long it took me to get good enough to make "something". This Orb series is a dialog that my associate has been developing for over 5 years now. He has the largest torch available in our industry, A gtt Viper. Even with that instrument and my large torch, A gtt Delta being used as a hand torch and my gtt mirage being used to feed body to the Orb (total of three torches) It took over 6 hours to make this one Orb! Well worth it, it will be a collected piece of art for many generations to come, makes me proud to have been a part of making it.
