I received my piece from James Yaun today! The pictures just don't do it justice. The depth, colors amazing!

We were made aware that the first purchase of James Yaun's art (on his new web site) happened during our trip to teach a class here in Tempe, Az. at a studio of another teacher Laurie Nessel, who happened to photograph and catalogue the first non dichro 510 type B tips I fabricated and made a photo journal of me fabricating my first two type B 510 as well. Laurie is an amazing fabricator of core formed soft glass vessels. We were as well interviewed by Carol Saker an art historian, writer that is in the process of creating two publications on the history of art glass. I was proud to introduce to her the art glass drip tip (specially my very own Raychel Stein tip) Carol was involved with the bead museum for over 6 years. The only bead museum, which now has disbanded and the entire collection was acquired by a full size museum in California. The Mingei International museum in San Diego. The fabrication of the art glass drip tip has revolutionized the fabrication of beads into a collectible, functional, trademarked design. Gabrielle Liese, the founder of the bead museum would be so proud of Robert Langan, she would have given him the biggest hug for providing a new dialog in the design and fabrication of art glass. Thank you for purchasing James Yaun's pendant (also known as a focal bead) and I look forward with providing all you tipsters with more! of his amazing color designs and Raychel Stein's as well. :D

The thing I really like about this tip is it utilizes the same theory as the donut, I would love to see some of these for sale, they look like they would work really really great on a Atty Freddy !!! Not allowing any juice to spit up like the donut but even better the way the bottom and the shape of a triangle is,,,, great work

Thank you! for your detailed input :D I'll be honored to make more as soon as my traveling schedule wears down...really, thank you for your detailed input!

Seemed sort of like an invitation.

i had thought she was looking for a blue and i ended up snatching the best looking blue in my opinion...why i dont know...it just called me repeatedly, now i need a blue reo,lol

I was just looking at James Y's website some crazy good stuff on there my wife wants all his necklesses:)

awwwww, so sweet. I'll let him know. His partner Nadja Gustafson recently "large scale" collaborated with James (she does repousse) They fabricated a huge repousse octopus and added 8 of his marbles and orbs. It currently resides at Acrylic Tank Manufacturing (the offices of the reality series "Tanked"). It will televised during the second season and well will be unveiling the piece (which took over 300! hours) at a Show in Las Vegas, NV. this coming week. Have a beautiful! morning.

wow wow wow! I'm personally a HUGE! fan of marine biology. I'm from Costa Rica, and I spent countless of hours studying aquatic beauties :D James will be developing marbles and Orbs that can be submerged into tanks. It will utilize a special coating to keep them from reacting to being submerged.

these are the fabrications of Raychel Stein, they are her signature style. I am a guest of her home here in Scotssdale, Az. I am currently in the development with her of this design for the gl.vz, the i06, the glv2, the 510, and the type B 510 art glass drip tips. We have already developed fabrication designs and also new designs of her work into art glass drip tips. She is extremely excited and I am honored to say they will be by far the most involved, detailed art glass drip tips we have yet marketed. So, here's the artistry of Raychel Stein, soon to be a new line in the art glass drip tips from trippy tips.:banana::banana:
