If you have slim jims for dinner, (and I know this from personal experience) you must have them with boxed Rose wine... :glare:

Sounds like something we should consider doing on our next date! If you can keep your hands off me long enough.... I mean, I can't be at your every sexual whims beck and call all the time! Some times I just want a quiet moment with you, slim jims and cheap wine lol

OK all caught up. Woohoo for possible sale this weekend! As for the contest, if I can get my Trippys in the mail Saturday morning when they are scheduled and take a good enough picture I'll enter. It's just too bad I trimmed down my beard last week I could have made a cool stache outta it. (I'd say the idea I was GONNA do but I still want a fighting chance :p )

NEXT date? Doesn't there have to be a first day in order to qualify for a next date? :p

I promise to tie my hands behind my back ... for your protection.

Blah blah blah blah blah sexual whims beck and call. All I heard was cheap boxed wine. And I cringed.

just saw there is someone called misfit...my bad, im just misplaced, misinformed and misunderstood. hi misfit

sooner, I'm just Mis... They call me Miss Demeanor.

Whew! It took me a long time to catch up on the thread - I was out of town for only two lousy days and missed so much, including a sale. Boo-hoo.

But I did receive my latest orders and they are spectacular. I am thrilled at how unique every single tip is.

Don't remember who posted it but I wanted to comment that I have NEVER been credited for shipping charges on tips, even when multiples arrive in the same package, which happens frequently. Apparently, the real price of a Trippy Tip shipped, is always $30, regardless of the actual shipping cost. Not that I won't pay. I have (obviously) and will continue to.

On another (unfortunately) negative note - I ordered a tip from Kokomo and the one I received in no way resembled the photo I thought I was purchasing - not even the color/pattern. But that is certainly not Bert's problem - I will contact them tomorrow to ask for the tip I ordered or a refund, whichever they prefer.

In rereading this, I guess I sound a little cranky but, honestly, I don't mean to. I wouldn't continue to order if I didn't think the product was wonderful. Guess I was just reporting facts as I experienced them.

Whoo-hoo, another sale this weekend - count me in!

Vintage,

I totally agree. Yes, it's fair to ask more in the Classies to those who haven't been through the stress, effort, and adrenaline of a sale night - they haven't paid the price, have they? But amongst other Tripsters, an even-up trade or the price we paid originally is really the only fair way to be. Maybe even with donuts - I mean, after all, those who scored donuts didn't work any harder than the rest of us - they only got luckier....

I am so very upset about a trippy tip purchase I made last night as well as the response I got from the vendor :-x and really feel the Trippy tip community should know about it so it doesn't happen to anyone else. I have recently developed an obsession with Trippy Tips so when I found out that Kokomopurevapor was selling them and in a style I absolutely loved, I bought one. Even though it was $35 plus $6.50 for shipping. My husband was very upset with me for spending that much on a TT and couldn't understand why I didn't just wait for the next sale. So after our argument (actually still hasn't completely ended), I continued to browse the site and realized "MY" trippy tip was still available. :?: so I look again and in small print it says you may not get that exact trippy tip. I email Jeff at Kokomo to ask, and this he confirms it so I try to cancel and he says he won't be back in the office til Monday and that taking a pic of each trippy tip is not possible. Funny cause Bert does it. I guess Bert must be Superman then, although with such beautiful artwork I already knew he was special. ;) I'm sure each and every TT is beautiful, but not necessarily one I would want as I like them big and in some of the more unique shapes, which the one pictured was. Anyways, needless to say, I am very upset. I see there are a few others who this has happened too, as there is another post here about it, as well as a PM I received from someone who also placed an order yesterday, who didn't know. So this seems to be a reoccurring issue.
I just want to make sure you are all aware that you DO NOT get the TT they have pictured at Kokomopurevapors and I would not Ever do business there again, as they would not even cancel my order 15 minutes after I placed it. I think people should know that they are not getting the actual TT pictured instead of having it in small print so that people will be deceived. Thanks for listening. :vapor:

Good Morning Karla --

 I'm so sorry they couldn't cancel your order! I read the fine print before placing my order and I did get the Trippy Tip pictured, so it may be that you will get that exact tip. I do hope Kokomo can take measures to consistently show the availability or non availability of tips. When I purchased my rainbow tip at Kokomo, (see pic here:http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-tips-pictures-only-thread-5.html#post5648126) I too noticed it still showed as "In Stock" at Kokomo and contacted Jeff. He fixed it immediately and while the pic was still there, it showed as "Out-of-stock."

I do hope if the order is not canceled you end up with exactly what you wanted :)

hugs,
d

Good morning D and Karla

I chk'd out the Tips at Kokomo and didn't notice the fine print either and I think if their not going to give you the tip you pick then they should make the tip purchasing a Mystery tip pick like Bert used to do:2c:

Good Morning Pietro :)

They're a pretty new site so they have lots of work ahead of them :) I noticed that eliquidplanet (http://eliquidplanet.com/trippy-tips.html) sells them in somewhat the same way as when Bert sold them as Mystery Tips - they show tips in little groups, but you don't get to order the one you want -- sorta like a grab bag. :)

KillFace,
There simply are no tips in stock. They all got ordered within hours of them getting posted yesterday. I will be adding some more soon. I suggest signing up for an account and electing to receive the newsletter to be notified of new stock and ready to race to the checkout with your favorites. Welcome to the TrippyTips thread!
~Bert

Ah...alrighty. I will do that, thanks.
