Even if I did grab a donut for someone there would be a mark up on the price because once it arrives to me I would repackage and send to it's true owner and I wouldn't want to be left holding the bag if USPS lost the package so I would put confirmation, insurance, fragile and priority on the package..... I don't want to be left holding the bag if USPS decides to have a brain fart with a package I send to someone unless that person tells me to send it with only confirmation and they will assume responsibility if USPS loses the package!

I always raise the price by about $5 to cover those things.

Then your nicer then me lol.... Also have to take into account the fact that some people pay with a credit card and I have almost zero credit but the very little I do have is bad which means my APR is high lol.... every $35 dollar purchase I make is really $42 dollars after you take that into account lol

Morning Tripsters - How goes it? Going to my folks' place this morning, so I may be able to pop in.

calsax - I think I have seen those at B&N .... my sister gave me a "Sorcerer's Apprentice" series book for Xmas that has just been sitting here. It looks more like something DD would read ....

Odi - nothing wrong with asking to have your costs covered .... if they ask you to get something, that seems fair. :)

And when I sold my Booster on the classies, I said "you want insurance? If they lose it, it won't be my fault ..."
After Sun's donut hit the dark matter, I am going to CYA from now on. LOL

I don't know DD's age (and NOT gonna ask!) but this is an excellent series, and contains quite a bit of mature
subject matter. Just sayin'...

Good Morning Trippyville! I have decided to post in the morning to assure I am caught up from the evening and on board with crucial happenings. ie: new foal has a Momma! The Mexico vacation, the donutless list?? HHhhhmmmm, geeks and nerds and assorted book discussions. I am an avid reader but no sci fi.I prefer psychological thrillers or murder mystery or well, I admit, I am a James Michener fan. Had to be, read so fast the hobby was getting very expensive. Hubby bought me the kindle when it first came out and asked if I wanted the newer version. I am techno ......ed, can work the e reader but...........I guess I am a bit crazy but I like the feel, smell and ability to SEE how far along I am and where the plot is possibly going. I end up buyng the e-version AND the hard back. Now, the "hobby" costs double! Before I actually kept up with this hread, I would get "Tripped off" via email and run to the site only to find NUTTIN! Could someone share with me how long before the site is empty of goods to buy besides a brush and o rings? Also, how does one prepare? Do you fill out the cart with a brush or what not and be reay to add and then get directed to paypal or should another window with paypal and Berts addy in it be ready to go? My "fast fingered helper" left for Mexico and I am on my own and scared I will be left Trippyless. How soon before the sale are the choices shown and are they numbered or what? I have NEVER seen a trippy on the new site and quite frankly have no idea what dichromatic or frit mean. I assume di means two and chroma means color, so it is two colors???? Frit? Latin would never help figure frit out. Many other trippy words are "Greek to me" Is there a glossary somewhere or a pictorial description? Wish the site had examples...............I am more confused since I typed this *You are always confused!* SHUT TO HELL UP! I have told you to stay out of Trippyville, I am calling 911 if you don't leave this minute! *Well, you stared at those Trippy tips and used everyone , one after another all night last night and was drooling and saying WOW and all for a little piece of glass?* That is enough! How dare you call these beautiful pieces of ART little pieces of glass! Bert, please have this voice in my head banned from your thread! I think the rule is "disruption of business." Call the mod police NOW!

I can't take this stalking anymore.:?:

Yeah. This sale shouldn't require crazy effort unless you are after something really hard to get! And even then there will be so much hard to get items that the odds are in your favor that you will get at least one if you try. Though it took me months of trial and error to get really good at grabbing the hard to get stuff lol

LOL - You definately want to weed these books out, then. There is S E X of all types. Not to mention extreme violence. Not something I would share with a 12 yo.

calsax - she is 12, reads at a very high level, but I do weed out books with S E X ...... Those go in my pile! (jk ... kinda)

Thanks Blue

FWIW.............that IS NOT MY FRIEND! I hate her, she is so nosey and opinionated and speaks out of turn! So rude IMO. *Have you taken your meds today?* SHUT UP! I take a lot of meds FFS, I have a lot of sicknesses and I need them
*You NEED them alright, but did you take ALL of them?* Can't you see I am having a conversation with a watch? Leave me alone now! I mean it is important! It is a SWATCH after all!

Leaving for the Turks and Caicos early Tuesday morn and will be cranking Sunday to get everything packed and ready for the house/kitty sitter. Flight leaves Indy @ 6AM so I'll be crashed all day and up all night Monday finishing loose ends to be ready to leave for the airport at 3:30-4am.
I doubt I'll be available to cheer everyone on and partake in the banter even if it's on Sunday. I hope everyone gets what they want. Brew
