I know there is a few healthcare professionals that lurk around here. I have a question for you. I have been having sinus problems with allergy season for the last month. I woke up a couple of mornings ago with horrible pain in my jaw and ear everytime I try to close my mouth. It still hasn't gone away and now I can't chew to eat. Can an ear infection cause that? I have an appointment tomorrow, but I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to get through the day starving like this. Milkshakes and mashed potatoes just don't cut it.

I can drink things ok, so long as I don't have to press my teeth together. Mac and cheese might work if I over cook it. I could probably make some potato soup so long as I crunch the bacon up really small. I feel ok, just can't close my mouth and it's making me crazy! I forced myself to chew a cheeseburger for lunch and cried the whole time. LOL! But I needed real food. Thanks for the food ideas! I don't think I can force myself to chew again.

She likes Go-Gurts, mac & cheese, minestrone soup, mashed potatoes and gravy, and she sucks on goldfish crackers till they get mushy. LOL
