Good Morning Trippy Nation! I was so frustrated after last nights sale I went in and finished a blanket I was making so I guess something good came of the sale even though it wasn't a trippy tip lol.

Looks like the cotton quilt i made but mine was Halloween on one side and Christmas on the other side 
. My son stole it and now it is full of holes but very well loved.

Yes. That is what I do instead of sleeping lol. I love these blankets to snuggle or nap with. The next one will be tie-dyed blue fleece backed with kitties and then another is the black and white to the far right of the pic backed with red poppies.... I found a way to braid the edges instead of knot them and it makes them so much more comfortable....
Oh that is so neat Sun. I have always wanted to make one. Maybe I will give it a whirl.

Peace -- my most treasured blanket is an old lilac silk covered wool blanket that my grandmother would put over me in winter when I stayed with her as a girl. I loved to sleep with my grandmother -- don't know why as I was always asleep when she came to bed and she was always up when I awoke but I guess I slept with her until I was about 11 or 12 years old. Ah....those fresh smelling line dried sheets and listening to the planes drone through the open window in summer...

Yeah, it was the first thing I read this morning. Some guy went into a batman movie and shot and killed 14 people.
I am going to start another one this afternoon and will get Dh to film it on my camera... I am assuming I can take a file like that and load it onto youtube or photobucket? Anyone know about this? There are a few tricks I learned... I can type it out but to see it would be easier....
It is very easy to do and I would be glad to help you do it. I buy 7 foot lengths so the blanket can accommodate tall people or a bunch of kitties down around your feet
