Thank you again Bert, Freddy and Matt for the great tips. There was site chaos, but it isn't anything we can't overcome.

Hi, Star! Thanks...yes, that is my new puppy. Got her on July 4. She is 11 weeks old, Australian Shepherd/Lab mix, named Molly Doodle.
Tracy Kirchmann comes to mind. She's in Chicago now building and amazing glass facility, but I met her while she was working in your nephews area. She was my first! offhand teacher/assistant. Great person =D
p.s there will be another link with Asheville and Colorado soon...Fat Tire Brewery choose Asheville as their east coast brewery location. They are also building a 20+ mile bikepath between Asheville and Black Mountain. They promote bike ridding to work. Awesome!

Freddy, thanks for all the updates! My mom is just waiting for her house in Illinois to sell before moving to Greenville; her husband is already there. Maybe I will be there to visit by Christmas and pick up an ornament (or a tip...hey, I could hang it on the tree!) in person.

Sera i think alot of it has to do with Fios is making a lot of changes i keep having problems with connection though it never fully when out so it wasn't you it was fios
Yeah, I have never experienced anything like tonight and we have 30Mbps package through Verizon so maybe that in part with the funky checkout procedure didn't help....

That! would be fun. Every holiday I make up a small round of ornaments. I haven't actually sold any, they have always been gifts. Last year was the first year I attempted a "witches ball" ornament. They were traditionally made to "ward off spirits" while at sea. look them up, they are coooooool! I made 8 of them.
My current main flameworking inspiration is Roger Parramore. I am blessed to live in the same community as him. He's a master artisan and scientific flameworker. He makes amazing ornaments that have a very traditional Italian feel to it.
I'd say we would make some awesome ornaments for you all...gonna bring that up again when Sept/October rolls around
you would be my wifes hero.... she is the decorating queen and i mean every holiday too. guess who is stuck putting lights on the roof not just for christmas but halloween, st. pattys day, valentines day ect. she made the front page of our paper a couple years back and now when i try to tell her we need to scale back a bit she just tells me she has a reputation to uphold,lol.
Mom seems to be taking it a little better now that she's had time to sit with it. She's already talking about another dog though. :face palm:

Trying to catch up on posts, hope everyone got their dream tip last night! There were some beauties. I had the best intentions of trying to make the sale, Kindle Fire made it to the bar, unfortunately I couldn't keep a Wifi connection up, so I missed it. But I have a feeling with all the tips going out to vendors, I'll snag a new Trippy soon enough.
Amber, I'm sorry to hear about your mom's dog. I've got two, and they are very much a real part of the family. It's heartbreaking to lose one.

I wish you were our neighbors!!! I have tried to get ours to do something...anything...but they are all lazy. I love to decorate. We go all out for Halloween especially.
I went home over my lunch break and cuddled up on the couch with both of my dogs and played with them with their squeaky cheeseburger. That toy is so hilarious, but they love it. It's as big as their heads. And they have big heads. Made me feel a little better. Boy am I tired from last night though!

that would be cool. hardly any of our neighbors decorate for anything. 1 does for christmas but very minimal anymore. wifes favorite is halloween too.
Hubby builds props and makes products for the Haunt industry, so to say we are into Halloween would be an understatement.
Our neighbor swears he is going to do this this year. I couldn't stop laughing when I saw it.
