Good afternoon everyone.

I need some help with my long barrel 2.5 HH357 atty please.

I got up the courage to try it. Followed the directions on it's use at Avid. Added 6 drops and heard the gurgle. Put it on my vv woodvil and for some reason I can not squonk juice into it - It's like sucking air thru a straw and no juice is getting into the atty. Just to make sure it wasn't my vvw, I put a regular atty on it and the squonking worked just fine. It also fires just fine.

What am I doing wrong?

Sashwa. Is there juice gathering in your catch cup? It should have a good amount in there. Also, it takes a few ml to get the atty broken in.

I just checked and I do have some juice in the cup but not much. Are you saying that I can't blind squonk like I do for cartos and other attys?

I know the taste is strange and very little vapor. Now I have juice in the cup and I'm getting a burnt taste and feel even though I have gurgling when I suck on the atty.

I'm using BWB Dulce which is 70/30 pg/vg.

Have I said I hate learning curves?

Sashwa. You want to keep it flooded a bit. You will find a balance point but better too wet than too dry. Yes blind squonk till you have your cup filled at least 1/3. You can have it filled higher, to the top even. Did you blow out the primer before beginning? That can cause a bad taste if left in there. The Dulce will work fine. Also, the 357 likes quicker burst drags (toot...toot...toot) than long slow drags. Again you will find a balance. Too slow and the coil doesn't get hot enuf to create a lot if vapor. Too quick and hard and you get too much air and hot dry dratty vape. But again it needs to break in. Yes there is a learning curve. Took me about an hour to just start getting it. A couple days to really get in rhythm with it. Now its second nature. Sera had the same issue. Now she's a pro.

generally with a good blind squonk i can fill up my catch cup then dont need to squonk for a good while as i just dry hit and the juice goes into the atty from the cup. while you are not hitting the juice runs back out of the atty and into the cup again. repeat process. im trying to figure out why your draw is light as it is...perhaps try a firmer squonk? your used to using other things rather than the 357 which is totally different. dont let your 357 get dry if you can help it..flood that puppy sashi

I've been thinking extensively about custom tips since I spoke with Bert yesterday. We will be ready to roll on it soon. I like, personally being presented with some visual samples close to desired dream Trippy Tip. That combined with Bert's set-up at tripppytips.com should make it a smooth situation i.m.o It's been quite the endeavor to make it a simple procedure. My hat goes off to Bert.

Abstract Trippy Tip customs will be neat as well. One of a kind co-creations...i look forward to it. I am; after all, a full time manufacturing member in our growing team.

Blind squonking is a little different on the 357 your won't hear the same slurp you do on a carto but if you juice it up and you see juice getting into your juice cup when you rest for a minute it should be wet enough What voltage r u running?

Sashwa, I'm having the same issue. Blew it out good and had some steel blow out with it. Added 8 drops as the 6 seemed too dry. The thing is like sucking hamburger thru a straw. And not much vapor at all. I know this juice and it has great vapor. I have been working on her for almost a week now. I keep her wet no bad taste but still hamburger thru a straw. Then during trippy sale night I tooted on her and a huge boom in my mouth. No juice but almost like a huge forceful bubble of gases blew in my mouth. Scare the shizzer out of me. The next day it happened again. I'm really nervous to even use it. I do but with extreme caution. I have the 1.5 ohms and I haven't put her past 3.7 on the provari. Ohms holding at 1.4 since I got her. No clue what's up with this thing. I was beginning to think she's a dud. I use mostly VG based and I didn't buy the custom. I bought the premade. I wish I had it custom cuz this has really turned me off and I don't feel like dishing out another 25 bucks for custom.

Pete. Good point on voltage. Might be too low. I run 4.2-4.4 v on a 1.5ohm. The vvw has a 0.2 drop under load. On a 2.5 you want to run closer to 5 v.

sedge, I didn't buy this from Avid so I wouldn't feel right emailing Hanna about this. Deli gifted it to me and had Avid send it to me. Plus the problem is probably me and not the atty.

Sashwa. Maybe the feed tube is kinked, twisted or maybe the bottom if the tube is so close to the bottom of the bottle that it is blocking juice from traveling up the tube. I cut a tiny piece of the tube at the bottom at a slight angle to always allow juice to flow freely. Make sure your feed tube is properly working. I had this happen before and it sounds like you are experiencing what I experienced.

I thought this could be an issue also but Sashie has had a Reo so long that I figured she had already chk'd this but could definitely be an issue I actually cut 2 slants in mine one an each side that way it can never be flat against anything
