It usually takes me some time to get pics up, because I have found the easiest way for me is to take the pics with the iPad, then email them to the laptop and post them from there. The iPad won't post pics and the laptop is off cause its been on all day. So it won't be tonight....

I'll need more fire power than I have to make one, but Freddy was talking about a studio upgrade recently that would be more than adequate!

Way cool! It was last summer that I started drooling over these, and when you sent the marble a light went off in my head, hey Bert and Freddy are glass blowers extraordinaires, I bet they could do it!

Here is what I snagged up.

Cosmic Pillar is a little bigger than I thought. Its a very unique color and shape, I'm diggin' it.

Golden Sunset donut is pretty much exactly what I expected, awesome in every way

I grabbed that Ruby Glaze Pillar with another tripster in mind, it will likely be leaving for its new home soon. Its going to be hard to let go, its a great tip

I kind of have a thing for all glow tips, I don't recall ever seeing a honeycomb before

Overall, this might just be my best ever haul

Oh, I just wanted to also mention that I really enjoyed seeing the tips that were named in the contest up for sale. I think my fav was "Grandmas Carnival Glass"

Hey Tripsters!

Back from the folk's place and back to my computer, and finally caught up on posts! When coming through West Virginia today, I stopped at this art expo place, and to my surprise they had some glass artists at work. Spent about an hour watching them play with glass and dreaming of custom trippies. Fascinating to watch, I had only seen videos before.

I wasn't able to score a tip at the last sale, though I'm dreaming of a pomegranite honeycomb ming custom? Perhaps a blue moon honeycomb donut?

Until then, please keep posting your pics, they make me happy.

And, I just came across this pic on Pinterest and holy cow, I want to marry it and have it's trippy tip babies.



I would love, love, love to have something similar to that with a little tree frog!
