caught up! hey everyone...have an awesome Friday. I'll post pictures by Sunday of this studio project in Arizona. It's going to the a top notch studio for education and art. Raychel Stein is one of the best bead makers there is and so are her peers! I'm honored to have made them all such a great place to gather and melt. I will also be here for an extended residency this coming winter.

ok....gonna go do some of what I do best now...i have to confess, I don't type that fast...hee,hee ;)

Ok so I know what I'm gonna make today. After that fail on the glass tray yesterday, I think I'm gonna make myself a new tip holder, except this time I will make a wall decoration one. I was thinking an oval with a giant koi/crane etching, maybe some kanji tossed in, I think I still have "the boss" saved on here, thena small shelf protruding from the bottom with the holes..

I think you will enjoy the desert much more in the winter! That is awesome, since you are only four hours away we will have to maybe get together!

Sedge and Seraphina your daughter is an absolute darling. If my wife and I could have only been so lucky. I know she is going to grow up to be as wonderful as the two of you with something special that will be completely her own. Between you two and Cyclin+Cali, I keep being reminded of how special children are and wish we had been closer to our nieces and nephews when they were that age. However I did get the moniker of "Mean Ol’ Uncle Scott" for my definitive boundaries when they were in our home. Although now when they want a no bullshoot answer to life’s tough questions they always confide to my wife or myself. They always knew exactly where they stood with us and their parents always wondered why they behaved so well when in our presence. It wasn’t fear and that’s for sure. Brew

Grrr. I hate it when I can't make things work.

I picked up a Bella tank from Hoosier vape, so I'd have a tank I didn't have to worry about breaking when I'm out. Spent the last 20 minutes trying to force a carto into it. I just can't do it. I'm frustrated. Maybe I'll just sell it and get another Phiniac. I should not have to beat a tank to insert the carto!

Did you try dripping a couple drops of liquid on the both of the tank's inner o-rings? It helps to "lube" up dry tanks first, then slowly twist the carto in.

Gonna try lubing it now. I pulled out the wee 3rd o-ring to make sure it was seated right, too, so maybe that will help. I use the little tank tools I from Phiniac, so I've never really had a problem with a tank. :p

Katann. Did you wash the Bella in warm or hot water before trying it for the first time? I found out the hard way that these tanks don't take well to anything but cool water. They warp and shrink. I ruined two of them. They are now unusable and cannot be fixed. Already tried with the maker.

Nope. If i take out the wee o-ring at inside the base, I can fit in a carto, but I think that it's loose enough like that it would leak, though maybe not with a flanged carto. I'm thinking if my husband can shave just a mm or so off, it should work. If you still have yours, and we figure out a fix though, I'll have you send yours our way and maybe we can repair them!
