thanks, Wharf and Saraphina. I made the gates in 2000/2001 (before the movies came out) for a client in this side of the country. He is a Tolkien scholar, a completely immersed fan of his work. It was my honor to make it for him. The funnest part for me was sanblasting the seven elf fathers names on the glass.
We've finally finished the complete studio remodel here in Scottsdale, Az. Walls are painted and posters are hungThe rest of my time here will be playing with glass and such. This coming week will be just trippy tip fun for me....yay! I will do more studies of tips like JDub's for sure.
The first time I read the Trilogy was in HS. We had a class to read and write in Elven
HEY, what can I say, it was the '70s, our HS had a p*t smoking area that was monitored (and condoned) by the teachers to make sure we stayed in that area....... Boy I had a good time in HS 
great high school nick, we had to get in our cars and leave to do that,lol.
California is so evolved in many ways .........................man, I would have loved that HS even though I didn't indulge (as I had a paradoxical reaction and became paralyzed waist down)But, I so liked the kids who did. They were the free thinkers, the artistic and the rebels. Just like me.

we are not unionized here really. teachers have 3 choices as far as paint goes in their rooms.... wait to come up on the paint rotation..about every 3 years, paint it on their own or.. pay me to do it off the clock. they are just in the last few years able to do colors other than rich cream, sourdough or a light blue.
We also can let the kids paint the room if we supply the paint. Ex. the oceanography teacher has an ocean with fish swimming about painted across the long wall... Hey! I could do mine in cats!!!!!

I'm having a great time here in Griffin GA, but we've got an issue. Mom's got COPD; as such she uses albuterol in a nebulizer to help her breathing. Unfortunately, her nebulizer died earlier today and we're having trouble getting a replacement here in a timely manner. Is there any reason why we can't load it in a new Stardust and have her vape it until we can get a new nebulizer?

Well...............who would have thinked it? I was a glassblower for a day at Wheaton Arts Glass museum and took a one day class lasy Christmas and made this Large Christmas ball. It is PURPLE delilah! A few Boo Boos from touching with the wrong thingy at the wrong time ..........LOL

I collect glass paper weights too. Think I posted one a long time ago on here. I saw a lot of pretty ones in Piegon Fordge las week. I would've brought home several if I could've, but it wasn't meant to be this time around.....but one day I'll get me some more....like I need them shsssse I have more than I need now. But, but....the curio cabinet shouts....I need more.....like the pretty glow n the dark jellifish one......more I say....
we are both pretty talkative star,lol. you joined up here about the same time as me.
