people seem to be having less and less problems with taking flights with their pv's and supplies mike seem TSA is starting to know what they are which is a big win in my book for the vaping community

every time I've flown, the always make me hang out at the Denver airport.
Straight flight through to Texas? just kidding, we broke the plane, here hang out in Denver for a bit while we find a new plane or duct tape this one back together.. whatever works.
Going to Missouri? Sure but you must see the Denver airport 1st, oh and you also have only 4 minutes to deplane, get all the way across the airport and reboard the next one. One the way back through you can hang out for 6 hours though
And every other flight, there and back, always includes a visit to the Denver airport LOL.

my first plane ride was also in a Cessna. i was like in 6th grade and some friends and i hung out at the small airport we had sometimes. we caught a pilot a few times and talked him into taking us up. it was a blast too!! imagine these days if a pilot just took a kid up in a plane at random, lol.

are there really more crazies out there stalking young people or are parents just waaay too uptight these days? im a heavy lean to the latter. working at a good public school the last 15 years has shown me kids and their parents virtually decide what goes on in our schools.

they have actually shown statistically that we are safer now adays that we were 30-40 years ago but because there is so much more media coverage now it just seems as though things are way worse
studies have shown most types of crime are lower now than they were years ago

I don't know there is necessarily more crazies (per population) but the kidnappings/murders are certainly more publicized today.

Sooner -- you are right about my age. Did you grow up not locking the house when you left? We never did except if we were going away for a weekend. Gosh, how would the milkman and the egg man get inside to put up your groceries if the house were locked?

Its both. yes, there are crazies out there, but the parents are waaay uptight, and there aren't as many as they like to think. And because they are uptight and very vocal about it they have a hand in everything that goes on everywhere their child might be.
I'm only in my 30's. I remember walking the 3 blocks to the store by myself at a very young age, I would go outside and as long as I was in by dark and mom had a vague idea of where I might be going it was fine. I've seen kids with gps trackers, or on leashes attached to their parent or whoever else was watching them, pretty sure those kids aren't going to learn anything or have any personality of their own...

Good Morning De.... same here. My friend and I would spend hours playing and hiking around the woods and no one thought a thing about it. Gosh, when I was very little the family realized they hadn't seen me for some time, and then they discovered my clothes laying on the ground in a neighbors front yard. Were they scared? Did they panic and call the police? Maybe they should have, but they didn't; just sent brother off to comb the neighborhood, and sure enough, he found me playing nekkid in a sandbox, half-way down the next street. All I got when he got me home was a bath lol.
