Sooner- on the flight thing, I had no problems with my provari. The only thing they questioned was my atomizers. Said they looked like bullets in the scanner. Just be sure to take your batteries out, and disassemble everything you can and you'll be fine. I took my syringe apart too for safe measure. put your juice in a baggie and youll be fine! I went through Will Rogers without so much as a sideways glance.

Yeah, that was me and that's exactly what I'm looking for. I plan on contacting Bert in a few months when money isn't as tight as right now and would love to see if Bert will be willing to make me one. I love basket weaves and the only one I had which was a pipe broke awhile back. It's my favorite technique, I'm a basket weave freak.

Another great example of some great work on that tip. Awesome job Bert!

Good morning everyone! Thanks weinner, we will get you rigged up sooner or later I am sure!

Its both. yes, there are crazies out there, but the parents are waaay uptight, and there aren't as many as they like to think. And because they are uptight and very vocal about it they have a hand in everything that goes on everywhere their child might be.
I'm only in my 30's. I remember walking the 3 blocks to the store by myself at a very young age, I would go outside and as long as I was in by dark and mom had a vague idea of where I might be going it was fine. I've seen kids with gps trackers, or on leashes attached to their parent or whoever else was watching them, pretty sure those kids aren't going to learn anything or have any personality of their own...

It's hard not to be a little worried when you have heard SO MANY stories of kidnappers and pervs and such....I try to take a middle ground in most things I do, no gps tracker on his phone as far as I know anyways but he does have a cell so I can reach him and he can reach me for emergency, I like to know where he is at and there are rules....but now that I have a kid, I just get terrified of what could happen, if something really bad was to happen to him.....it would just be the end of me. I would be devastated.

BUT I try not to think that way so I don't get too overprotective...its hard sometimes tho, just to be a little extra cautious and not go overboard, especially when the latest new tragedy comes up on facebook or something. Maybe we are safer now then we were 30-40 years ago but it sure doesn't seem like it because we get briefed on every new horrible news story through a variety of ways, and quickly. I don't even watch the news or read the paper but since I'm online, there's so many ways the news gets to me anyways lol.

I suppose it depends on where someone lives. I don't have kids though so I can't say much on the topic.

warmer here to Bert about 80 right now, now if it would only just stay at 80 it would be great :)

I know, I can see snow on the mountains now, so I know winter is coming. Despite the cold winter is a very good thing for Coloradans. The mountains turn into a giant playground for us snowboarders/skiers!

i've realized even though i hate really cold winters (cold for me at least lol) that if we have warm winters like we did last year we have a big bug and spider problem. We have had tons of spiders this year, i find 10-12 black widows on any given day on my back porch or front porch it's crazy

Well, I ran out of propane and oxygen at the same time :) looks like an early bed time for me tonight! I got most of Amber's modifications done, including one really awesome spinning top! I will take some pictures in tomorrow's sunshine!

It's actually a really good thing I am getting to bed early since tomorrow morning there is a pumpkin launch going on that's always awesome. They have everything from catapults and trebuches to full on compressed air cannons. Imagine pumpkins flying thousands of feet. One of the trebuches is powered by a hemi!

Good night all!

Sounds like a blast! (da dun tsh!)

Hi everyone! Thanks for saying so Speed! Who turned you on to TrippyTips?

Here is one of the things I got to last night before running out of gasses...

It used to be one of Amber's drip tips from the other guy, but I think it's much better as a top. I am off to get more gas now so I can finish up some more modifications/repairs.
That is so awesome, thats a perfect desk item!

Okay Tripsters, I think I am about ready to jump into the land of RBA's. What would you recommend for a RB noob?
If you want, PM me your mailing addy (I lost it) and I'll send ya one to try out. I have some brand new china DID's that came out really nice from a few different co-ops. One's a mini and other is full-size. I would recommend trying the full size first because it would be easier to learn on :)

so funny that 3 of us flew in a Cessna first lol, and sooner if someone took a kid up now a days like that i don't even want to think what would happen to them
Make that 4  First plane I ever flew was a Cessna 172. Actually my first full-time job I worked at CPA (Cessna Pilot's Association) and my father worked exclusively on Cessna's for a good 10 years, he even taught at the seminars and whatnot. My Uncle still owns a little 150

================

Caught up!!! *plays Rocky theme*

Hows it going tripsters! Mike and Amber you both should have packages awaiting you at your PO this morning :)
