It was like that ALLL DAAAYY. I'd set something down and gone, into the vortex

The Provari at least is in a ten foot radius and was set down lightly, not fallen or anything just can't find where it got set down between 2am last night and this morning. So at least I know its safe and the tip isn't broken or anything. The spool ehhh, who knows I have looked for it for a week or two and looked hard

I was thinking the size of a spool of fishing line ... what, 3" diameter? Ok, smaller would be easier to lose.

I have hubby to deal with. I had a long extension pole I used to hang Christmas lights with, knock down wasp nests, etc, and asked hubby where it went, it's wasn't hanging in it's normal spot in the garage.
He swears he has no idea, I must have left it somewhere, blah blah blah ....
I find it in the attic above the garage a couple months later .... like it opened the door and pulled the stairs down on it's own.

willow - have you tried any of the 500 mesh? I've heard a lot about it, but only have 400 and 325.... a lot of 400 and 325.

Nope Blue I haven't tried the 500. I'm happy with 400 and 325 so far. What have you heard about the 500?

I need to get me a torch. I was using one of the old camping torches and it messed up. I'm hoping to get one off of zen's site.

Willow - I have a little Benz-O-Matic pen torch thing you can have if you want ... I bought it but never opened it. I use my gas stove. LOL

I heard a real tight packed wick of 500 mesh, start with a really long piece, like 40mm, wick like the dickens. You don't even make a hole in the middle, more like a solid wick. I tried it with 400, and it works well, but it's supposed to be WAY better with the 500.
Emonty is talking about it on the orion threads.

Emonty had some info that the capillary action really takes over with the tight packed coil and 500 mesh .....

Let me see if I can find it.
