Hey Kami! I ordered a Kicklet for my new pipe, so if it's cool, I will get one for your BOC. LOL

Reidus - my pipe is an 18500, but it has a VapeSafe 2 fuse in it. Would a Kick still work?
I might try it, but if I trash the fuse, I am sunk. It's hard wired in as the + contact.

Blu, I have no idea. With the Jazz, according to the site, you order the 18500 with the kick option and use a 18350 battery w/a kick.

Also, the jazz is purely mechanical, and according to the site, the spring will collapse in the case of a short.

Concerning these pipes ..... Some show the battery being installed in what I would call an upside down manner..... If so...a kick will not work will it?? Kickleted or not?

Depends how the pipe is wired, kami. If the center pin of the connector is coming off the positive end and the outer threads are negative, then the kicklet should work (assuming no other electronics are in the pipe).

Kami - on mine, it's just the + connection is at the bottom of the bowl, and the - contact is the button being depressed. A simple completion circuit I guess you would call it.

I think the Kick would work on the + end of the battery like normal, but with the VapeSafe in there, I am not sure if they would play nice together.

Hmmmm hubby says it should work ..... The fuse is looking for a short .... An instant of really high current and then it pops..... The voltage coming out of the kick should not affect it...... Well that's what Mr Science says
