If the pink sculpted tip was Venus then this would have to be a "stunted", semi-twisted Adonis.

Oh and finally got the firewood picked up, hauled in and put away.

The new is light brown and the rest is aged to perfection. About 2 full cords/ 6 face cords(ricks) just in case! This years, next years and a bonfire or two. I also loaded the garage ring that gives me about a weeks worth just outside our laundry room door. Nice & dry. Oooh I can't wait to get to burning something.

I'm truely a PYRO through and through. Brew

Yes that's true but our house can be heated soley by our stove and the generator will maintain all of Mom's wing plus the bare necessities for us including the baseline geo-thermal operation (No auxillary heat) and the blower system of the wood-burning stove. Since we're not on the beaten path you have to prepare for the worst and hope for the best. We have a well and septic system plus we have a 500 gallon underground tank of LP to power the 200KW genny at full tilt for up to 9 days so if we really conserved we might be able to go 4 weeks without power from the outside. I keep my eye on solar-cell technology and hope to one day have us be completely self-sufficent or be selling spare energy back to the utilities. Not an Ed Bagely Jr. but am cautious in my trust of the longevity of the power grid. Problem is I don't want to be the only house with the LIGHTS ON if the power is out for a month. Zombies would be out in force and I would need a lot more trees to build a palisade enclosure. :D Brew

holy smokes that's a ton of wood you got there brew
