Evenin' Trippy Peeps,
Just got back from a remarkable dinner at Charleston's Steak House. Took my Mom out for her Saturday night dinner and drinks. Man I hope when I'm 80 that I still want (2) tall highballs and a full dinner. She likes her bourbon and plenty of it. The waiter asked if she'd like some water and she said "no thank you it might ruin the glow". My wife and I were absolutely laughing out loud. It is awesome to be able to share our daily experience with such a young at-heart senior. I continue to live each day as it comes with her because you never know when you get the 12 year old or the 80 year old. Dementia is weird that way. Tonight was a good night and thankfully we still get a lot of those. Just reminded, although I keep it to myself, that Dad never let her fully stretch her wings. We're so happy that for the past three years, she can do whatever she wishes. Well we're off to watch Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Thanks goes to Cyclin for suggesting it as a couples hours of entertainment. We are not expecting much....Brain off, Id on! Night everyone. Brew

I know just how you feel brew. More often than not I see the 12 year old rather than the 47 year old anymore. Just gotta take one day at a time!

Bert - the 2 Reos and the Ignis are the ones I use i06s on, or 306s, the white on the left, the green burl one, and the Ignis (4th from the left). The Reo on the right is going to Kami.

that's great though my sons the same way, of course on a smaller scale cause kindergarten homework is much simpler lol but he get an hour a day worth of homework
seems to be paying off though he is already reading simple sentences and spelling simple words

let me guess she's a perfectionist like my son
he goes no mom your not making your "g's" right or the line on my a's go up a little too far and he eraser it and does it over

DD is like that, but says "That's not how the teacher showed us ..." and gives me an eye-roll.

Thanks Star! Kami got this for me, and it's HUGE!! Well, I am not sure about "huge" compared to the bowling ball Kami is getting, but it is WAY bigger than I was thinking. I was expecting gum ball sized, but it's more racquetball sized!
And soo gorgeous!!

I will get pics tomorrow in the light .... if we have any. LOL
