Well if you are upgrading from a #gs are you sure you don't just wanna go straight to the 5?
Here is a side by side comparison of the iPhone 4, 4s, and 5
As you can see, the only real differences between the 4 and 4s is a slightly faster processor in the 4s, and it comes with Siri (voice activated assistant) while the 4 does not. There are a few other minute changes but bottom line for most normal consumers is speed of phone and battery life, with the 4s being slightly faster and the battery life remaining the same between the two.
Another important thing to note is that both the 4S and 4 only support 3G network, while the iPhone 5 supports a 4G network (much faster data/imessaging when not connected to wifi than the 3G)
EDIT: If you are asking which is better, the 4S is better than the 4 hands down, with the 5 trumping both

The Mrs is severely pissing me off tho, she keeps throwing away flat rate boxes without so much as looking inside. yesterday I pulled my brand new iHy tube (came with the new iHy) out of the trash. I was seriously annoyed, as I just GOT that package yesterday. This is like the third time in the last two months I've found boxes in the trash, looked in them only to find expensive .... I needed...
But ya other than that I'm good, found out my poll place is 30 seconds from my house so I can hit it as soon as I'm off work.
Wow the trash!! Sounds like my husband lol. I found 2 of my Trippys in a box that he had thrown without looking lol.

ben, if i do an early upgrade i can get the 4 for .99 and the 4s for 99.00.
i assume that when the upgrade date comes..in january that ill be able to get the 4s for free...not sure about the 5

And i believe the 5 with upgrade is 199.00, it all depends on what you are willing to spend for the better hardware.
The 4S will probably still be 99 in January I think, and I have 2 upgrades available and they are priced the same as your early upgrade so I don't think it will change again for a while.
Brandon did. I just sent him pics, but seriously, the tips look nothing alike. It wouldn't be such a big deal, but I kind of have a limited income, so when I pick a Trippy, it's because I'm seriously in love with it.
I just don't think it's good customer service to imply that you never make mistakes. I make mistakes every day I'm alive.
It's just frustrating.

its kinda funny, it shows a higher price on both the 4 and 4s but when i click on the white 4 or 4s the price drops drastically
i understand that, im in the same boat that i have to love a tip when i buy it but i do get carried away sometimes,lol. i hope they will get this worked out for you.
