Good morning Trippyville and the greater Trippy Nation. I'm sending you all my wishes for a bountiful celebration of Thanksgiving. I also want to send Vintage all of the strength and courage I can muster in thought and spirit.

Bert, it goes without saying that your are a great friend on many different levels. I know you're going to channel so much energy into this Dragon that there's no chance for anything but a positive outcome.

Well I'm getting things nailed down here so we can head over to Ohio for the annual family gathering so I'll check back in when we get back. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Brew

LOTS of people have PMed, E-Mailed, and even TEXTED me about getting a dragon over to you. I had to let them all know that there is a VERY special one already in the works. I just wanted to share that there are many many people out there that care about you, and that you have a VERY fierce dragon in the works for you. Stay strong, and keep your spirits high.

I recomend not going down to 34AWG or even 36AWG as it doesn't stand up to repeated heating nearly as well as 32AWG. 34 & 36 are so fine that it is very easy to burn open a coil over time. 32 and larger handle the "GLOW" without issue. More wraps around a larger wick size is definitiely the way to go. Brew

With that smaller silica you'll have to either use more wraps or thinner gauge wire like 34awg or 1 more strand of wick if you want a higher ohm

Top hole in the center post is for the coil lead. Bottom hole in the center post is for the juice. Side post only has one hole for the coil. That's wht my post of Cyclins wrap directs you as to how to wrap the coil so you push the wick down over the juice feed hole. Brew

No, not touching the cap but on further inspection I think I set one into the wrong hole. I think I was supposed to put one in the high hole and one in the low, they're both in the low now. I bet the under wrap side is touching the base. Ill try again tomorrow! Lol! I gotta be up by 8 to get cooking. Gonna be a long morning but I have full intentions of a nap after lunch! Lol'

I got ya! I rebuilt it this morning with things in the proper holes and it seems to be working well. I went with a 1/16 for the air hole. Did a 6/5 wrap and still seem to only get 1.6 ohms, all the coils glow fine. Probably need to switch to thicker wicking and that will resolve.

Bert, Thank you, How can I ever thank everyone.
Bert just le me know how much and I will pay for it.
I have just spent a day having tests and I am definately going to ask for a "Port" to be put in while I am under having my op.
I have no veins so it's hard to get blood and painful.
Getting a "Port" put in would be much better as I am sure a lot test will have to be done for months.

Amber you can do the same by just adding a strand of 2mm also. I also wrap mine with a big paper clip and my coils come out kinda oval which takes more wire hence higher ohms

Howdy all and Happy Thanx giving to you Americans... Been outta the loop the past few weeks so I hope all is well with everybody.. Been having a bad luck streak so I've been unavailable to chat on ECF. Nov 9th wife was in an accident as some know, then the 12th I get a layoff notice, thanx to my union I did line a job up till June 30th thank God. Yesterday was a cheerful day though haha.
