So happy that you were able to buy the better meds!!!!

Are you less sore today?
Now that I am on these slow release morphine tablets I am fine. Not nearly as sore and the swelling is now going down. I can't believe tablets are available to some and not others.

So sweet of you to be worried about me now! The program that's transitioning her is helping with some things. Lunches and meds and baths when she gets home, so I'm hoping this time will go better than last. I have my husband and my sister and her fiancée. They usually won't help me with mom, but a little water works and I think they'll do what I need.
You need all the help and support you can get. Families sometimes leave everything to one family member and it's grossly unfair.
If water works are the way to get their attention DO IT.

When I get closer to Radiation and Chemo I would really appreciate your thoughts about Meds.

Seriously vintage it is the only thing that works with me! levaquin is what they have me on now. It kills my stomach so Zofran workers wonderful. I was on vancomycin and gentamicin..but guess who was allergic....and then they put me on tigar something it tore me up, but now I am back on levaquin. I know how hard the next part will be but that is why we are here!!

Hi vintage sitting in ER now lol. I have shingles that got infected and turned into cellulitis. I was in the hospital a couple of days ago...and so to let me get home I promised to keep iv antibiotics everyday..basically I come back here get infused again and then they let me go home. But you can only have a iv for 3 days I have had it replaced 2 times now...it's hard on my veins....so they have been talking about a picc line..I had one the last time I had cellulitis..it is a catheter that they put in my arm and run it up the vein..it's like a semi perm. Iv. I just talked to doctor and he will do iv once more..but if I need more treatments than I may have to go with picc. It's not too bad....but I prefer iv. I then will be on a 8 to 12 week course of oral antibiotics. Last time I was in the hospital for 9 days...because it turned from cellulitis to staph. So that is what we are trying to avoid now. And believe it or not I am better off at home because you can catch staph at the hospital lol. So now I am sitting here getting infused. They gave me a shot of Zofran before so maybe I won't get sick before I get home this time. But it's all goes back to TRAPS syndrome. I have no immune system, and catch everything. I am also diabetic and have thyroid...so as you can see my poor warranty ran out at age 25;). Hope that helps answer your question..if not let me know..
Hope your feeling better vintage:).

Ah you poor thing, I wish I was there to be with you while your going through this. My veins are non existent so they are taliking about putting a Port in when I have Chemo. My Doctor also had me home by the next night after the operation to avoid any infections so I know what you mean. I came home with meds and I was fine although sore. I realised tonight it's been one week since my operation and I am feeling better each day. You must be going through a terrible time. Hugs

I just sleep all the time lol. I got this sick last Friday or Saturday ..I actually didn't know the hospital had wifi and told the doctor I had to get home for Trippy sale...he didn't think it was as important as me lol. But the other day it dawned on me my iPhone and iPad both had 4g so I didn't need their wifi...the things I think are important sometimes lol.
I REALLY WISH I could be there to help you...I know you will be just fine..and really a port is not bad. And if I weren't so stubborn I would just have them put in the picc. When are they starting your chemo and radiation? I have you in my thoughts and prayers every day. So if you need anything please let me know. I will ship it to ya lol..;)

I now have to see another specialist who works out what is next. I believe the surgery has to heal first so I think it will be early January when they start the next phase.
I want to go back to work as soon as I can but my Husband is terrified I am not strong enough. Give me another week and the Dragon Warrior will be back at work, I am determined, even if I only do a little bit it's something and will keep my mind active. It's also Christmas and I have some little ones I want to see, I wouldn't want them to forget me.

Top of the morning Pietro, how's your venture going?

I am using Tapatalk. Please excuse errors.
the venture is going good my friend a little slow since its Christmas time but it gets better every day:)

:D She's growing too fat for me already
Be careful girls get really sensitive when you call them fat:blink::?::laugh:

I wanted to let everyone on Trippyville know how the money they have raised is being used. Part of it paid for my excess for the Hospital but the best thing I was able to do was instead of using the cheaper pain killers when I got home I was able to get the more expensive drug which worked much better then the one I would have been on.
It is such a gift you have given me to be able to make these choices.
Next will be Chemo & Radiation and once again there are choices.
So I will certainly be useing rest of the money when I make those decision.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I'm so happy you got the better drugs nothing worse then bad drugs when your hurting:D

Good morning Tripsters I got my Trippy mail last night and I have found the PERFECT size trippy for me this Itty bitty Punk Donut:wub: is soooo awesome the size is just spot on I can see this will have a permanent spot in the rotation its like the same width as my ERA and looks so perfect and tiny and the mouth piece is smaller than a drinking straw Bert you have truly outdone yourself AGAIN as usual! Pics coming later today. My dragons are very nice as well but may have to have the nostril bumps smoothed out as they create a weird feeling against the lips but still LOVE them:toast:

Vintage- my father in law passed away from cancer a couple of years ago. While he was on chemo the only thing that helped was medicinal you know what. The pills just made him tired he said, and he was already tired. If they offer that in your area, you should seriously consider it. Morphine didnt even help him, but that did.
