Howdy Trippy Peeps,
Still fighting the bug but am trying to keep from just sleeping the days away. I've been doing 10 hours a night since Thursday and now I thinking about a nap. Man I hate feeling meh! I think this is my first illness in like 5 or 6 years. Wife is just decorating around me so I know I'm going to pay for this later. One week of work left and then 12 days off for the holidays. I will get over this before then...damn it!! Brew

As a reminder to everyone who's been sick lately TrippyTips can be cleaned with hot water/dish soap or rubbing alcohol. TrippyTips cleaning brushes are helpful too. I recommend removing the o-rings if you are going to use rubbing alcohol since it might dry them out or make them more prone to breaking.
Get well soon!

Bert what have you done. I can't believe the generousity (can't spell today) of Trippyville and yourself. Bert you know I will treasure it. I wonder if I can take a picture vaping in unheard of places. I like a challenge. I am blessed to have you all as friends. I am crying again.
The rest of tonight's tips are being created as works in progress. The shapes will be final, but not the design. They will ultimately be halopized with designs that will blow your minds! Dragon warrior is going to receive the first Halopized TrippyTip when she gets her dragon. Trust me, this is going to be revolutionary!

Thanks Bert! I've been cleaning mine daily since getting sick. I'd hate to be growing some kind of super colony. Brew

I just got a BLIZZARD WARNING on my phone.

We are forecast for a storm with high winds up to 70mph, but no one said anything about a blizzard.
Well, if we lose power, and our generator kicks off, I will be on here all night. LOL
Our generator is outside the back, close to our bedroom. :(

Your wise to have a generator Blu..... When we loose ours out here, it can be 3-4 days before the power guys think the folks in nowhere middle deserve service
Stay warm:)

Kami - when we were in Guam, and got hit by Super Typhoon Paka, we were without power for 32 days. It took us a little over a week to get a small gas generator from the Air Force base, so since then, hubby has ALWAYS had some form of generator. LOL
This is our 1st hard-wired whole house one.
Our local news says rain and wind, snow on Tuesday, so the iPhone alert must be an area-wide thing.

Thanks Brew, thanks Kami ... we are all safe and warm, not going anywhere, we have food, water, all the goodies. :)

Only thing is if there is a lot of snow, our steep hill is not a priority for plowing. That's cool though, we have enough stuff for weeks. LOL I can stay in, in front of the fireplace with coffee and the Transformer Trilogy.

Kami - our generator is piped with natural gas from the main lines. I suppose if the whole gas plant, or whatever it is, goes out we'd be in trouble. LOL
We have lost power for a few hours a couple of times. It was like nothing happened. LOL

Kami - our previous generators where gas, and had small tanks that would only last maybe 6 hours? What a pain.

Our house is piped for natural gas for heat and cooking, so we just had to up-grade our meter, and run pipe to the generator.
It looked easy enough, but of course 5 different people had to come for this or that, and they all had their hands out. :glare:

Hi Amber, Nothing as grand a silver smithing just making necklaces, bracelets and earrings, I used to design jewellery for clients with special outfits. Just got my first appointment for Radiation accessment on Wednesday morning. Bring it on I say. Cancer picked the wrong person. Big mistake.
Thanks vintage! What kind of jewelry making did you teach? I love me some silver smithing! (When I can afford the silver- ha ha!)

Keep safe Blu, I don't think I have ever been in a Blizzard. Chocolate, couch and a good book sounds nice.
