Sorry to hear about your losses BB, this cannot be easy for you, but know that we are here for you. Life has thrown us all some curve balls this year, but one thing you can count on is the good people of this thread sticking together and helping each other out any way possible. Yes made it home, I really didn't want to spend Christmas in Hospital. The Doctor said he could put me in hospital or first we try this new antibiotic, well you can guess what I chose. Much happier at home. How are you going?

Sleepy lol I keep waking up for about a hour and then off to sleep I go..but I think that is normal for today lol. Other than that I am feeling ok..I am glad to see you. I know when they give you the option of going home or hospital it rocks to go home lol.

If anyone knows where I could get a "Minxy" I would be really grateful.
The person who makes them does not ship to Australia they wouldn't even let me pay for one and have it sent to someone here so I could get one that way.
Anyway since my operation my left arm and hand has trouble lifting and holding things, and I dropped my Minzy and cracked the wood casing. I bought this one on our For sale section. I just love them and would really like to replace it.
So if anyone hears of one for sale please let me know.

Glenn, I know how hard of a time you are having right now. It is OKAY to grieve. It is OKAY to not be the cheerful Christmas Dad/Husband/Sibling, etc. You have had a major loss and I am sure you are devastated. BE with the ones you love. HUG them. CRY with them. TELL stories of happy times with your Dad and Grandaddy. DO things in remembrance of them -- light a candle on the mantle, hang a special ornament on the tree, whatever you need to do so that they are there with you in spirit. I lost my mother right before Christmas on December 11, 1985. The only thing that saved my sanity was to go in at night and turn off all the lights, put on some Christmas music and turn on the christmas tree lights, for that was my mother's favorite time of year. Yes, I will tell you the old addage that it does get better, but the holiday has never been the same for me and never will be. That is OKAY, for it is what it is. Love does funny things to us, and that is OKAY too. My friend, I am thinking about you and sending you a wave of peace and a big hug.

As you probably remember, I finally got it approved by the BOE to have an animal rescue club so I could rescue and socialize campus feral kittens and practice TNR on campus. On Thursday these three lovelies were adopted into their "furever homes". I am now working on official rescue status for our club so that we may be even more productive within the school's community. Merry Christmas to my wonderful babies!

glad to catch damselle in here who turns ecf vet in january! now remember, pvt might be closing but that's no reason to give up celebrating! if bert gives his blessing we can party right here with any tripster who is about to turn ecf vet 
all it takes is a pm!
and any vet can open a welcome thread! that section of vip will stay unchanged as far as i know. sun knows the procedure and i'm sure our classy will look up the official turning time on a case-by-case basis if asked nicely

Well hell..... I guess Santa has to get dressed today. She bought dh a plasma tv for Christmas so now she must go get it and lug it home. That means cleaning all the cat stuff out of the truck first lol. It is sooooo cold here ya'll -- 30 degrees! I am dying!
