I'm home now, belly stuffed full of goodies. My 2 year old neice loved her gifts: a stuffed dog bigger than her and a couple of cute tutus for her to dance around in. gf is happy with her tablet, too, and I have a new fuzzy robe to lounge around in . . . just in time to commence lounging
We even had a white Christmas, yay! Just a dusting on the ground this morning, but enough to make it feel right

We had rain, switched to big, fat snow, and now back to rain ...... gawd, I love Washington.
Here is my 1st attempt at a Trippy Tube wick .... not sure if I did it right.
Sort of weak vapor.
1st pics above with un-oxidized wick .... now I have an oxidized thinner wick, with 5/6 wrap .... seems to be better?

well, we were supposed to get 5-10 inches of snow. made plans to do our christmas early like 8 am since they had said have all your traveling done by 10 am last night. i stayed up til like 4 watching the weather as it neared. got up at 7 and nothing but a slight bit of sleet and freezing rain and they had changed it from 5-10 inches to 2-4 then by 8 they decided our area may not get any snow.
it all slid to the south of us and stayed to the west.
other than that it was a great christmas and still have 1 son to arrive as he had to do the girlfriends parents house thing too.

I am going back to my pipe and Kat, and gonna watch Transformers 3.

Tube wick #3 on ZAP/ProV .... doing pretty good, but be sure and put the sir-hole away from the tube. It cools too much if it's right in front.
