Glad you're feeling better {{{KJ1}}} :) Was it a flu? I haven't gotten a flu shot in many years -- simply because it just made me sick to my stomach! Now I am reconsidering

Nah, not the flu. Had a nasty sinus infection coupled with a head cold. I haven't had a flu shot in years . . . my last flu shot was the same year I had the worst case of the flu I ever experienced (a long time ago), so I haven't bothered since (and haven't had the flu)

I think my productivity is about done. Attempted to fix an issue with the phone jack for about an hour, giving up for today since I need parts I don't have handy (I don't use the house phone, anyway, only the telemarketers do). All I got left that I have to do is put the remainder of the Xmas stuff back in the shed

i have had the same problems with the flu shot. the last 3 times i got one i got a nasty flu within a day or so. coincidence? i have no idea but since i stopped getting it i havent had a bad flu if any flu and thats working at an elementary school.
eric, im using that 808 vortex thingy you sent the adaptor for..... its not a bad vape at all and real easy to use and fill. i actually like it even though it only holds like a ml or 2.

I'm glad it wasn't the flu. :thumb:

I'm still on the fence about getting the shot.... Like you, I haven't had a flu shot in years, and I haven't gotten a flu either  Recently, I saw a show on TV called "The Doctors" where a panel of 4 doctors were discussing the pros of getting flu shots. They said that the symptoms of the shot shouldn't discourage people from getting the shot because the flu can get very serious, even fatal

Oh, heeeheee! I didn't want to give up our land line home phone but alas, technology won my DH over and now we have a VOIP home phone :) We were paying like $25 a month on the land line with out any features like call waiting, etc... When we switched, we got call waiting, call forwarding, and a bunch of features we rarely use, like getting voice mails via email and such for the same price! And somehow, even though we registered our number on the Do Not Call list, those telemarketers still get through :glare:

My hubby says since we have cell phones we might as well get rid of the home phone but I disagree... you can lose your cell phone but at least you'll always have your home phone... of course, neither of us has lost our cell phones so hubby still tries to convince me!

Glad that adapter came in handy for you. I tried a few newer clearomizer designs recently, one being similar to those, and haven't had much luck with them so I've kinda given up on the trying new things in that arena. It's funny that I can't get along with current clearo designs, but I was in the minority in that I had great success with the old CE2 R5's and the first revision CE3's (Smokeymizers) At one time those were my go-to vape, I've still got some modded CE2s kicking around and I break one out once in a while just for the helluvit

I did that for a few years, completely got rid of my landline, but the gf doesn't have a cell (she only has a tracfone for emergencies) so when I moved in here a few years ago we kept the landline

Or maybe the shots you got are doing their job? :)

those are pretty much all patti uses is those stardust types and the kanger ones. she seems to like the stardusts and the new bottom coil kangers. she does have a phiniac too though on her lava tube mini. she says that lavatube mini is the biggest tube mod she will ever use and she hates my provaris...go figure, lol. i will say she is smoking less and less like one cig a day and sometimes none. im pleased with this and give her no grief at all.

 I'm a wee bit superstitious, like with broken mirrors, and throwing a pinch of salt over my shoulder

Which are your superstitions Mike? :D

The one time I got a flu shot, I ended up sick for 2 weeks so never again.

I still have my land line also as well as an old princess phone incase electricity goes out. Cell phone reception here in Alameda leaves much to be desired.

How long ago did you get that shot Sashie? Boy, I think my last flu shot was over 20 years ago!

I was very sad to let our land line go -- after 9/11 the landlines were the only phones working which is why I had a hard time letting it go! :)

well, i played sports all my life and i always did things the exact same way such as shooting free throws. i would hold up the game a bit if i got fouled as my feet had to be set just so on a cetain board of the floor at a certain angle before id let the ref give me the ball to shoot. on away courts id find the spot during warmups on each end and put a mark of some sort at the spot my left foot would be. when i got the ball id pet the wilson jet logo 2x then deep breath, 1 dribble then 3 quick dribbles before i ever look at the rim then shoot. i seemed to work well as i started that routine in 7th grade and used it as long as i played exactly the same and i never had a season in which i shot less than 90% from the line.
well, thats kind of a long drawn out example, lol.

its actually a hair taller but the weight difference is like night and day. i like the heavy feel of the provari myself. her go to is the ego twist with a stardust or kanger

I agree about the weight, and I thought it would turn me off but that's not the case :D In fact, one of the pros of the weight is that it doesn't topple over easily -- that was the main reason I wanted to go shorter tube length

haha, thinking about it delilia, i live my life the same too.... at work i do the same things at the same time within 5 minutes of that time. i have several routines that i switch around so i dont get bored but god, dont let me look at a clock and see im more than 5 minutes behind or i go into overdrive then spend my last 2 plus hours of work reading a book or watching tv,lol.
