I've spent all morning hoping the freezing rain would continue so I didn't have to go LOL I've been like a kid hoping for a snow day sadly, it stopped and it's getting warmer, slightly above freezing now.
I so wanted to stay in my pajamas all day. It's cold, it feels like a great day to bake cookies and read books all day.

There was puppy cuddling earlier, so sweet when they're sleeping
Now they are sprinting through the house all crazy like. I have moms dog here too and I'm not sure where she goes or what she does but every time she flys by she shocks me it was startling the 1st time, but after 30 zaps I'm getting used to it

Morning Tripsters!

So the babys party went FANTASTIC. I am so proud of my wife as she put it all together. Unfortunately, as the paryt ended and our friends left to meet up with us at the house, my wife's best friend had a seizure.

Her seizure lasted ten minutes until the ambulance picked her up, and the doctor said they are happy she didn't have any brain damage for the seizure lasting so long. They believe she has a fatal disease, though I don't know the name. Basically the doctor told her she can no longer cook, clean, shake her tush, jog, ANYTHING. This is really hard on them as her boyfriend recently lost his job, and she just started a new one, which she can no longer go to. She is now unable to do anything that could lift her heart rate, as the doctor had said her condition is too serious and she has the possibility of dying if she has another episode. Also, she can't drive, which sucks, tehy took her license and everything at the hospital.

We are all very scared for her and hope all turns out well. We have set it up to where me and the Mrs (just the Mrs) will be making their dinners since her boyfirend and me don't cook. So they are coming over nights from now on and we will make the dinner + food for breakfast/lunch if they need it. It just really sucks... they took the hullll from our girl...

I'm so sorry about your friend. How awful I don't think I could handle such a sudden life alteration like that.

Good for you and the Mrs for taking care of your friends! If there are other people that could help out so you don't have to make every meal for them you could use the TakeThemaMeal.com schedule thing to coordinate. It works out pretty great. Was just done for a friend of mine who has been in the hospital. They already have meals covered until February for her husband, 4 kids, and her when she gets home.

Ya I dunno how she is gonna live now. She is the most active of all of us, and she has SO many weird skills. Like for the pary she strung together a on of balloons and made giant pink balloon pillars. I mean who just knows random crap like that?? Awesome I'll have to check out her tips! Ya it is really hard, not only is she my wife's best friend but she's a really good friend of mine as well. I'm really gonna miss her getting to be her normal self... Plus she had JUST starting Trippin' with us too. She successfully converted a couple months ago but just got her first Trippy over Christmas, it was a .....ing pillar with pink sparkles we bought from Dragonfly for her. We all had these plans and everything... Sometime in the next year she will be inheriting a giant sum of money, and we will hopefully have our settlement from our case around the same time. We were gonna build our house in Colorado and all just work from home on stuff we actually like to do and everything...

Cyclin, sorry to hear about your friend. You might want to check around; there's a number of services providing meals for invalids. I was active with one back in Atlanta providing meals for people with AIDS.

Actually ya we just got a new one for Christmas! Kali has been using it at least once a week. IF you wanna, can you PM that recipe and I'll email it to her? She loves using the crockpot cause you just set it up and let it fill your house with bomb smells all day

Thanks Brutus. Out of all the friends Kali has had this one is my favorite. She's that special kind of wife-friend, that me and her can chill just the two of us and still hold up a conversation. Plus she likes all the same video games as me so thats cool... We're really broken up about it but we all just care for her enough to want to take care of her indefinitely. In the wise words of my baby sister.. "That ..... is family."
