I planted the peach trees about 4 years ago...and we thought they had died...but a couple of years ago they just started growing and now we have a huge peach tree. Our cherry tree we planted 2 years ago one died and one lived...he is so sweet:). And the best thing is neither one of them have to have a male or female tree to make the fruit;). They were just made to do that. I wish I had pecans...we have tons of black walnut trees..hummmmmm.

That sounds awesome...peaches, cherries and walnuts...sounds like the perfect pie.

We have an apple, navel orange and a few pomegranates. The squirrels, damn them, steal 99% of the pomegranates. Our neighbor has a lemon and tangerine tree. They are cool with us helping ourselves to them. Supposedly, one of our trees is a macadamia but I have never seen a nut.

Oh and I forgot, our neighbor also has a black fig out front. Yum.

i dont think i ever get my sams nails short enough when i clip them. they are also mostly black and very thick. im just scared to go too short.

Have you tried those safety nail grinders for dogs? I bought one for my mother a while back but I don't think she ever tried it. Next time I'm there if she still has it I will send it your way if ya want :)

Deli, that's why I'm taking him to Petco rather than do it myself. I always have Petco do his nails even when I give him a bath. He has think black nails and I never fail to clip one too short so I let Petco be the nail salon. :D

Well, I hope you don't have to wait too long so you can get back home and baby your back and leg

Good day! We have crab apple trees which are beautiful when in bloom, but messy in the fall time. I'm jealous of all of you with trees that grow tasty fruit!

That's how it is with Kyely. His nails are all black and I always dread cutting into his quick. Dremel attachments are great though!

That's what I have Petco do - grind his nails. I have one but he won't let me get it near him. And neither will Sashwa. But I've had no trouble cutting her nails.

Congratz Mr. Awesome! You deserve it

Thanks  This has been an amazing vaping week for me.. Just good all around.

Oh and our friend who lost her Lavatube and MVP found her LT yesterday! It was her backup to her MVP but she's still stoked. She's back to Trippin' btw, with her very own TT I gave her for Christmas, from the last Dragonfly batch. Her specialists have confirmed that she is suffering from Hyperthyroidism and some heart problems, and she is on medication but doesn't take the pain pills they tried to give her cause they make her sick. Tonight will be day 6 or so of hosting dinner for them and another couple, but I think today we are gonna stick with pizza :D

never thought about grinding the nails. even then...how do you know if your going too deep? or is it a thing where they will let you know?

I guess it's just easier to be precise and if you start getting too short there's less potential for hurting them since they have a chance to pull the paw away.

Not really sure, I believe it is similar to this model PediPaws if not the same exact one :)

G'Day Tripsters

Great Cyclin.....we all deserve amazing days in our lives :toast:

Good to hear that your friends medical issues have been diagnosed and addressed.
and I like cheezy pizza
:p

We still need to keep an eye on her, and she's not allowed to do anything to get her heart racing even though she is on the meds. But all in all things are much better now for her now that we've got a handle on things. I think she's more ...... she can't drive, they revoked her license for a year when she was in the hospital, and she might not get it back unless she has no episodes the whole year

i'm using a small-sized dremmel and have had no problems. tried the peticure and motor burnt out in no time, lol. this little dremmel can take all the usual attachments, it's normed the same as the big boys, but is not so loud as to spook an animal. i even use it to trim my amazon's beak! ;)
found it on amazon.com for half the price of petco!
definitely worth a try

and a big hello to all!

Been missing sharing time with you all on the thread, but my efforts have been totally for the cause. I've had three glassy shifts at the Trippy Tips headquarters and also have been situating a wonderful glassy project.

Bert and Beata have been incredible hosts as my journey unfolded to their doorstep...quite the winding road!!

I'm sending off warm thoughts and a prosperous glassy future your way as my life winds up and shifts into my new two year Denver commitment.

Expect more soon :)
