Morning all! Thanks for the gratz.
My DIL had never really been a cook until she discovered a crock pot. She got a crock pot cook book from Cracker Barrel and has become a cooking fanatic. So far I like her meatloaf, roast w/gravey, apple cider (just a few crock pot recipes she uses regularly).

I agree Pietro, it fades but never goes away. It will be 10 years on Tuesday that I lost my mom. What hit me the hardest was watching people and thinking Don't you know the world just changed and it can never be the same again and how can you go on like nothing happened.
Its even tougher when I see my wife get upset with her father over something petty and give him the silent treatment for days on end
