You guys are funny, I never over do it.
Feeling a lot better now, chugged down a few tablets, coffee and vape. The world is looking up.
These new pain killer work really fast so I am UP UP AND AWAY or just HIGH.
It's a beautiful day today, sun shinning, Porsche can't wait to go to work. She loves picking up things for Glen and tossing them on his lap.
At the moment she has her lead in her mouth looking at me saying "come on Mum" I am still in my P.j's so shP1000463.jpge will have to wait awhile.
The look on her face is killing me.
I also wanted to share this beautiful doll I got for Christmas, she is so beautiful.

Thought I was on a roll with the good news.... I gotta not let this get to me tho, but I am so tired of our court system...

So a couple months ago we finally paid the last $2500 off my court fines so I could get my license back. They said congrats now you just need SR-22 insurance and go get your license reinstated at the DMV. So I went and got insurance, $160 and 45 minutes later I am at the DMV. They pull up my records and apparently my fines show as "pending." How long does it take a cash payment to clear? Not 2 months I bet.

We figured ok we'll fix that tomorrow since our courthouse is closed already today, lets move on to the rest of the process. Even tho I have no car registered to me, they want an IED (breathalyzer w/ monthly payment) installed in my car... Wait a minute. What car? Exactly. Apparently since both the DMV and court requested it I now cannot get my license without first getting a car. They also require I complete a First Offender's class, which is awesomely stupid as not only am I not a first offender, I completed my Second Offender class right when I got this DUI.... back in 2008. That's right, haven't driven since '08

Believe me I understand drinking and driving is wrong. $10,000 and 3 years later for having a few beers on my buddy's couch after work seems like overkill to me though.

Its only $160 + $60/month if they can't cancel my insurance contract and a wasted few hours... If I wait til Feb of next year the IED thing will pass too... Still ....ing BS I did everything they asked. I had to save every last penny for years to pay off that stupid fine.

Ehhh /rant over

Just gonna pretend I didn't leave work today for that, and that I never had that money to begin with... That way waiting a whole 'nother year won't suck so bad.

So how is everyone else doing today? :)

Just signed the petition and posted it to Facebook.

Can anybody recommend a good, inexpensive 510 atty? I left Tara a bunch of juices to try, but didn't leave her anything to try them on.

Reid, I really dig these attys and the price is nice :)
BetterLife 510 3-Hole Dripping Atomizers (2.0-2.5 ohm) [BL510-3Hole] - $4.75 : ValueVapor.com, Discount Electronic Cigarettes and e-Liquid

Two things to note, though:
1 - they say they're 2-2.5, but in my experience they usually meter closer to 1.8 ohms when I've gotten them
2 - the normal Betterlife 510 attys from the same vendor aren't bad, but they have really nasty-tasting primer. The three-hole ones I linked above have not had this issue when I've ordered them

Wow buddy that sounds awful, :( sorry to hear you're having such a rough time. I think that is pretty ridiculous for a DUI. Not to say DUI's aren't a serious matter, but to have that hanging over your head for 3 years and with all those fines...well, it's just Uncle Sam being good ol' Uncle Sam. Sucks man, really feel for ya. Hopefully you can get everything sorted out so they aren't screwin you so bad.

Ben, I'm with ya on how effed up our legal system is. I still have an alcohol charge on my record (the only thing on there, actually) that isn't even mine . . . happened in a town I'd never been in, apparently I went to court over it, too (I've never been in a courtroom before, either, unless you count school field trips). I found out about that one a few years after the fact and spent a few more years trying to get it straightened out, every time being told "no problem, it's all sorted out", then having a cop buddy check my record for me a couple weeks after each attempt to find it's still there  I just gave up after a while. Glad I didn't get pulled over during the period that my license was suspended, though, 'cos I wasn't even aware that it was at the time
