Cyclin - I got plain silver ones from 310 a bit ago, and sent them to Kenon to have them anodized. I sent the tank cover along for him to match, and he did an EXCELLENT job! And sent me a WAY cool dragon pen back with all the stuff!

Has anyone tried the new style Ihy buttons? I have the original Ihy (as in first production before websites had them) and I HATE the friggin button. So much that I have stopped using my ihy. Which makes me said because it really does have the best RTA I've ever used.

Amber - I had one on the Hell Raiser, and got an extra for the Spider, and I do NOT care for them. I like the old ones better.

They feel sharp to me, it's hard for my pinkie to fire the button alone, and I can not get a Kick in there ... it makes the plunger stick out too far.

Ya I had the original and new switch. I like the new switch for lack of lock ring, style, and that it allows both my button and flat top CGR18650CHs. However, I have noticed the button slightly sticks, such as last night. I just pwered through it and it started to break in. If its just the "sticking" that lends to your hate, just wait for it to break in. If its something else, since all these people are buying the new switches maybe they can sell or trade you an old one. Also, I'm sure if you offer to trade your new style an old styl could be easily obtained if thats what you're into

My issue is with it not firing. It's like every time I turn around the damn thing isn't making contact and I have to take it apart and clean it again. It has to be cleaned nearly every day to stay working right. And also the lock ring gets on my nerves because I can't unlock it one handed.

I have a special 18650 button top kick tube for mine that has plenty of room. I wonder if that would still be a problem there?

morning all, missed out on getting to try some white rabbit juice last night. was gonna do a swap for it but seems i was at work when the guy sent the pm to trade and since i didnt respond til i got home he traded it to someone else...bummer. oh well it was the zombie juice i really wanted to try anyhow. its almost friday!!!!

My issue is with it not firing. It's like every time I turn around the damn thing isn't making contact and I have to take it apart and clean it again. It has to be cleaned nearly every day to stay working right. And also the lock ring gets on my nerves because I can't unlock it one handed.

Hmm I think we are talking about two different models of switch. The newest one has no lock-ring. Thats really weird about your switch not making contact, I had to clean my older model one pretty frequently but not even close to every day. Have you contacted the maker about it?

Personally, I'm more than a bit irritated. I think I told y'all back before Christmas that the extender on my carto tank stopped working? Well, I ordered a replacement extender on 1/7. They apparently have to custom make them. Well, I finally got mine in the mail today, and this is what it looks like:

If you can't tell from the picture, the base has separated from the tube. And I can't get it to fit back in no matter how hard I try. I sent them an email; I'll let you know what happens. I really, really don't want to have to $40 for a carto-pipe tank that I don't even like for the damn extender!

I'm searching for you now Reidus... I had thought they sold extenders at epipemods.com but I haven't found any yet. I'll let you know if I pull up something you can use

EDIT: I was wrong on the epipemods, it was Jazz epipes that have them but cheapest is $40 for a kit like you said. Still looking for cheaper alternative I'll let ya know

Ok looking at other sources than pipe makers now. So far here is what madvapes offers

Gripper 510 Extension << Looks to be long enough tho it is currently out of stock $3.99 ea

510 Battery Extension << You may be able to thread together 2-3 of these for the right length $1.99 ea (though it may add some extra resistance before hitting your carto, you may wanna ask how it will affect performance fom someone more experienced than I)
