We plan to do an experiment. When I was a kid I had a skip it and I used to miss a beat and knock the crap out of my ankles with it. So hard I can't believe I never fractured anything. We want to know if this one is just as dangerous. Lol!

Shin guards!!! Pics or you know what!

And I understand getting excited about vacuums: Tara's planning on showing me her new vacuum next time I'm home. It's apparently much lighter than her Electrolux, which she inherited from Dad's mother when she passed. I've got the Electrolux that was Mom's mom, lol. They both are pushing 50 and still work great, lol. You know what they say: Nothing sucks like an Electrolux. :D

:lol::lol:

I would like a Dyson. I have a Hoover leftover from my first marriage which was a *very* long time ago.

I am also drinking Limoncello, so please be warned if'n I get a little frisky. I don't normally drink, but I have a certain weakness for the Luden's Lemon Cough Drop flavor that is Limoncello and I sometimes keep accidently on purpose add more to my glass. :)

In other news, one of the pins in Gandalf's leg is coming through the skin. I do not think this is a good thing, but I have him on antibiotics and there doesn't seem to be any sign of infection. Unfortunately, we do not have the money for another surgery, so I guess we'll see if there is a simple solution the vet can come up with. He isn't crying in pain or anything. And believe me, Italian Greyhounds in pain cry and scream like nothing you've ever heard.

Alas, I am rambling...

Well I have done the first week and have 5 weeks to go. First week went well, I have a swollen lymph gland and some pain but nothing the Dragon Warrior can't handle at this stage.
It's about week 3 you start to have real problems, I am told.

Poor Gandalf......I hope he doesn't start hurting. Makes me hurt just reading it :(

I finally got a Dyson after years of wanting one and I must say it was worth the wait. They are just the best machine, I love mine.

Fudgey I must ask them about the blood cell count, thanks for reminding me.

They should have you scheduled for a blood test soon! A friend of mine is doing chemo right now, she just got finished with her third treatment. After the second one her white blood cell count dropped really low and she had to get a couple of shots to make her marrow produce more. She was is some pain for a few days after that. :(

I remember we removed our carpeting and installed laminate flooring(quite some time ago). Blazer(my IG, now deceased) came running around the corner for the first time and put on the brakes.....he slid like 12 feet into an antique desk we had...HARD! I seriously thought he was dying LOL....He did have a small bruise...He seemed fine in a minute or two

OMG !!!! (ok I know I sound like a 13 year old girl, not a 55 year old man) but my TT's came today !!! I don't know how Bert and USPS did it, but they did.

This Tip is (like so many) so amazing in person. The red is darker than the pic..... I'm lovin' it !!!

This one is darker too... It's bitty with a small mouthpiece.... Stunning and it wasn't even on my radar, I'm so glad it asked to come home with me.

So also as Bert had said... a little extra somethin' somethin' :)

So quite awhile ago a gorgous, sweet, generous person outbid me (unbeknownst to me at the time) for a fundraiser for Twigg. She (ooops let that out of the bag) sent it to me because I did her a little favor. Now the part as yet untold ..........

The night I got it, I put it on my atty, took two puffs and put it in my pocket. I sat down on the couch and heard a dink. I looked down on the floor and there was my PV sans TT. There next to it was my new trippy :(

Thank you Bert for the flawless work and thank you again Stacy (damn I'm not good at this secret thing) for a beautiful Tip (((Hugs)))

For a moment I felt guilty then I realised life is too short and we all need to take time for ourselves just to enjoying BEING.
Each morning when I wake up I try and think of one positive thing for the day and do one ROAK if I can.
Yesterday a little old lady didn't have enough money to pay for her groceries at the check out so I was happy to help. I felt really sorry for her everyone looking and she told me later over coffee she felt ashamed for not being able to pay.
We need to treat our old people with more respect, they have paid taxes all their lives and should not be made to feel ashamed about anything.
