Greetings! here for a second, checking in. I had a great day "off" today....funny how busy a planned day off can be, glad to get caught up with my domestic duties, though

I had a great dinner with Bert, Beata and Katester....but I totally forgot to check in on making a contest happen! Worth the wait, I'll be seeing Bert again pretty soon.

The pictures are looking sweet! I made that close up of your marble my screensaver, Deemer. You captured it pretty well. I am setting up an arrangement with one of the most respected glass representatives in our industry to share my work with collectors and galleries. He has been involved in our industry since this current american art glass boom originated, selling the works of industry leaders and functional glass artist on the grateful dead lot (we call it "Shakedown Street") since 92/94. He's an great spirit and a great friend. I will offer with you all the marbles directly through the trippy tips site as well and I will be including a certificate of authenticity and they all will be numbered. I usually do that now that I have created a series, but we posted the last batch reallllly quickly the last sale so they are out of series....which makes them rarer!

thank you. I am often humbled, actually by the immense talent and skill in our industry and like any artist, we are caught in the detail, caught in seeing where the work could have been better...how it could express what I want to say more. I know so many ways to work glass, see so many techniques and styles that I could do and I could embellish my pieces with...but I am striving to stay unique, to speak from my heart, my spirit and say what I wish to define...so I remind myself, this is what I have to say, this is how I want to say it and it has to be made because of that and leave the rest to the critics. I am glad it speaks to you and I thank you for that, I look forward to sharing it with you for as long as I am capable


I sure wished I could have commissioned Amber for some stands...but her work is so high in demand in our industry, there's no one that is providing the quality of her work. I'm happy for her, she deserves it...maybe our schedule will synch someday and there'll be freddy with amber stand pieces available, they rock!

Sorry i didnt respond earlier Bert was off trying to find out about steeping. A couple of weeks ago i went on a juice buying binge lol and almost all of them didnt taste good at all and so i just put them in a box and away till i could get a change to read more on steeping. Little did i know that i had taken a step in the right direction already. i have 170ml of juice combined i cant use yet and wanted to know why. Spec since i have my provari comming in a day or 2. But it seems im stuck going to my local B&M and paying through the nose for ready to vape juice till what i have sits some more.

A few ways to steep:
ignore the bottle for a while.
shake, take top off, let sit for a day in cool dark dry place, repeat till good. Note- keep anything with mint/menthol/cinnamon away from other open bottles.
hot water bath- haven't tried it, but there's info out there

Thanks D i appreciate that. Like i said i was already in the right direction without knowing it lol so after some more reading i have taken the caps and the noses off the bottles and letting them sit most have been sitting a bit over a week now but with cap. What i do know is that i might invest in a sonic cleaner lol. Not for just the juices but i been wanting one for a long time anyway to clean my glasses and jewelry anyway so noww i have more of a reason to and not get yelled at lol

Of course every Trippy I have looks awesome on it, the jet black ones look really classy, guess I will just dress it up for the ocassion. As far as The Billet Box, I love it. Got over 9 hours on the 1st set of batts. It produces vapor better than any mod I have ever owned, and that has been way to many. I'm loving it going into day 2 and don't see that changing. It could very well be my last mod, well unless I buy a 2nd one. Love my Trippy Family!

You and most other people, but Beata just started a new work schedule that gives her days off during the week. We worked all weekend, and now we get to go and play without the crowds/lines/traffic which is AWESOME!

Good morning Trippyville,
Getting ready for 5-9 inches of snow up at home and about 2-5 down here at work. It's going to be a very interesting commute tomorrow if I do decide to come in. Might just be a day to stay home recuperate and use the gym at the nearby Country Club. We have a cheapie social membership and they have a really nice gym, pool and bar all combined at their beach club. This beach club is on the banks of Morse Reservoir so the view is out over the lake and is much more entertaining to me than any TV program. Watching the birds swoop back and forth is priceless. Makes me forget the exercise.
I am really loving my new Trippy acquisitions. I got two of the FM red tips (1 taper, 1 bulb) as well as a Dark Emerald taper and Yellow-jacket Wigwag. I kept the FM Red taper and gave the bulb to a buddy at work. He's been using a REO mini for about a year and still struggles daily with 1 or 2 analogs. He's a single Dad who gets what matters and his budget is really tight. Every once in a while, I'll pass along an upgrade or accessory to keep him interested. He now has a Dark Emerald, a Green Tiger Stripe and the FM Red. These look great on his green w/ black door REO Mini 1.0. Funny his choice in mods though as he's about 6'7" and looks like a Ukrainian basketball player. The REO mini kinda looks like a Zippo lighter in his hands. Brew
