Good morning Triponators.

Kat Im so sorry to hear about your delema. /hugs.

So tripsters waking up today I realize how much older I am then my niece lol. Took her out yesterday and of course she challenges her fav uncle thinking she could out party him. Boy she regretted that hehe. But thankfully she is still asleep right now and boy am I regretting it now. My head is killing me but I'll be damned if I let her see that. Lol. Have to keep the nieces and nephews in line and remember to never challenge the fav uncle /snickers. Thankfully I won't be getting another visit from one for a few months which is plenty of recovery time. So I just took my quick hangover cures gonna get ready then go and loudly wake her up to go back out today lol.

Reidus bro you better get in writing from Verizon that your plan won't change. I've been with them for over 15 years. And let me tell you the sales and CS peeps always mess up. The only way at this time for you not to loose your unlimited data is to buy the phone out right at full price with Verizon or if you bought it somewhere else that is an authorized dealer. If you didn't and got it at a discounted price they will alter your plan. No matter what the sales person tells you. If you google it you will see all the horror stories of this happening on phone specific forums. Though the sales person told you that nothing would change it will because vz corp will change it. So please triple check and make sure and get it in writing because in writing they have no choice thats a binding contract but Verizon corp won't honor a verbal. I've been there with them in the past. I'm due an upgrade my self but won't use it because I would loose my unlimited and have to pay all that extra crap. So when I need a new phone I just shop around to buy it out right at the cheapest price. That way they cant touch my plan. Sorry I didn't see this earlier to give you a heads up on the bs the vz reps pull. Hope it works out.

Wishing you all you tripsters the best.

Hello Tripsters!

Just got back from the surgeon. Basically they said we can't make a decision on what to do with the leg until the infection heals, so for now it's antibiotics and we'll wait and see how things look in a week. They still seem to think that's it's that there will still be problems with the plate, but they said it's possible that once the infection clears up that things will be ok. So for now, just watching and waiting and lots of dog cuddles until we know more. Not the greatest news, but at least there is a possibility that things will be ok.

Thanks for all of your support. I'm off to take a little nap with the wee little guy.

Question, Cyclin or any other experienced phoner: the girl at BB said my charging cable was just that. Well I plugged it into my computer, and I was able to load a picture onto it from my PC. Am I doing something wrong? is she clueless?
She's clueless :) It also works as a data transfer cable. You will also notice when you plug into a computer you have different options for how your computer recognizes the device. < Media will allow you to transfer all media files to and from easily

Okay, this is probably a dumb.... question: Will my phone charge faster plugged into the wall, as opposed to plugged into the computer?
Yes sir. USB ports only output a small amount of power (like .5amps for desktops and .2 for laptops for USB2.0) while the Samsung wall adapter pumps out 2amps. Amperage in this context is basically how much electricty can be passed through in a set amount of time. So if USB is .5 a wall charger would be 4 times faster. ALSO! If you go ahead and download and install Asus AI Charger (its free) it should slightly boost your charge rate on your computer :)

Good evening Trippyville,
It been a cold nasty few days with lots of black ice this morning. It's always fun dodging folks who have no businees on the road in the first place, driving cars with near or completely bald tires in these conditions. I know times are tough but having real usable tread left on your tires going into Winter seems like a reasonable thing to expect from fellow drivers and yet I'm guessing by the number of slide offs this morning that this is just silly me thinking logic rules. I watched a senior women slide for at least 100 yards before entering an intersection against the red to get T-boned by a flatbed truck. She couldn't have been doing more than 25mph when I saw her front wheels lock up and yet the 80's vintage buick just kept sliding. I didn't see any news of the wreck when I got to work so I'll hope she was okay. I was waiting for a left hand turn that damn near got me involved in the accident but the 2 of them made it behind me as the truck pushed her over the median behind me. Thank Goodness!!

Katann,
I can't imagine being in your shoes and am not sure how I could handle it. We too have a vet that was willing to discount the price and let us pay over time when we needed what would have been a $3000.00 operation for one of our long-passed pets. We enjoyed 7 more years with him because of it and it was worth every penny. None of my business, but my heart breaks at the thought of you giving up your buddy. I would sooner live homeless in my car than give up one of our guys. Brew

Finally have my hornet up and running. It's nice but wow, it's like sucking on a small straw in a thick milkshake. Little help on this Pietro or Bert or anyone else that's used them

Enlarge the hole on the side a little. I think 1/16" is what people were drilling them out to but Pietro will have to back me up on that measurement

Thanks Bert, just consulted with Pietro and he said the same and gave me several building hints too. Soon as we got off the phone I broke out the 1/16 bit and went to work. This is more like it. I really think I can do this!
Miss gator, didn't see your post in time to check about the wick blocking the hole but I am pretty happy now

Hey Sooner,
Lots of adjustment means lots of points of failure. I did a little tutorial on the Indy Vapor Shop site and it might help a bit. Also you want the air hole to be pointing directly at the coil so the airflow cools the coil wraps helping smooth the draw. The further the airflow is from the coil the more throat hit or harshness is involved. Here a link to that ERA/Hornet page and once there select the instructions tab. You'll see he references me :D Brew

p.s. - If I had to guess I think you'll find that you have a shorted coil that has just 1 or 2 of your wraps glowing orange. When I had this issue I'd get some weird behavior similar to your current experience.

... Or I thought. This freaking hornet is killing me. Chest heavy been coughing a lot now. Funny thing is I'm getting flavor but hardly any vapor at all Why can't I get this right? I gotta be doing something wrong

Good to see ya Odi:toast:

Good night Trippy Nation:closedeyes:

Thanks for the answer, PM.

Good to see you too : ). I'm gonna try to drop in more often, I just haven't been around much because I don't really have the money to buy trippy tips anymore and honestly I never really had the money to begin with, I began vaping primarily because I couldn't afford my addiction to cigarettes any longer, with the inflated taxes and near 2 pack a day habit I was starving myself to buy cigarettes, pay bills and still have gasoline to get to work the whole week. I'm also not the type of person that really cares about himself enough to stop smoking because of my health, however not being able to afford cigarettes while also not being able to stop smoking them drove me towards this cheaper alternatives and because cheap bags of pipe tobacco is disgusting I ended up settling on vaping lol : )

My original plan was to stick with basic Ego batts and maybe one box mod but then I got into the whole glass stuff and nicer vaping devices, which cost quite a bit more. In turn I had to become more resourceful in my means to obtain the items I wanted, but even then I couldn't hold onto certain ones if I may have wanted something else even more in the future so I would sell what I could bring myself to part with, even at inflated prices if possible (sorry if I over charged any one that's reading this) and then re-use those funds to purchase something else vaping related that I wanted more, which became sort of a pathetic cycle so now I just stay away more in order to avoid being tempted to get something new and eye catching lol

Good to be here. Not much time for ECF these days. Bert let me know he'd be working on this tonight, so I had to stop by to take a peek.

I hope that everyone is well?

Willow, I can't imagine trying to take it all in. I had an online acquaintance go through the radioactive pill treatment. From what he said, thyroid is usually highly curable. Prayers for healing have been sent her way.

I love that guys mods, especially the scorpion and tarantula ones he once made :)... Dolphin is pretty too but no where near as cool as the scorpion or tarantula ones :p

Ok guys. I put it back on with the cap off to check the coils. Pushed the button and it gave smoke but coils didn't glow as wick is very wet. Hit the button again and it smoked then caught fire!! Actual flame. I'm taking this thing off my reo right now and ill have to do some reading when I get home. This thing has me frightened now
