Mornin all! Hope y'all are having a great weekend.
Well I didn't get the Milky Way cake made yesterday, though I did make some Chili Mac, which was awesome! The cake's on the menu for today, lol.
Hopefully, my juices from Fuzion's coming in today. I'll let you know my findings. I've also got some wraps for my Vamos coming as well, I hope.

Good Morning Trippyville,
Well I'm just a few minutes from starting my system build as I ramp up on some coffee to get the build juices flowing. Doing an Ivybridge 3.5GHz (unlocked) quad-core CPU, 16GB DDR3 RAM, 250GB SSD SATA3 OS drive + 1TB Storage SATA3 6G drive and I'm repeating the Corsair water-cooled implementation that results in a virtually non-existent sound output. Thinking I'll likely run out and grab an EVGA GTX 650Ti display adapter and then do my Windows 7 64-bit install. I also just got an Adaptec SAS RAID card with cables to hopefully recover the data on my previous RAID1 array. It's going to be a very FUN & busy day DOIN' HARDWARE!!!! :matrix:

Mrs. Wharf and Mrs. Brew have very good tastes in both Men and Cars. Mrs. Brew loves her Highlander Hybrid better than any car we’ver ever owned and even with 278 combinational horsepower we’ve still gotten 30mpg on a trip up through Canada. Going up the Bruce penisula where we had to go a lot slower than here in the states, the hybrid portion did the lions-share of the propulsion. Although I did pull the 19” wheels and tires that came with her limited and went to a same-diameter 17” combo. Michelin low-rolling resistance all-seansons have made the winter with this AWD a much better environment than those low-profile poser tires.
QUOTE=Wharf Rat;9146815]D I loved it too, made me smile !!!

Maybe I'm just lucky, Mrs Wharf had 2 Taurus and they both worked great. Now her Highlander she'll never get rid of, she loves that thing !!![/QUOTE]

Wow this was my Father’s favorite that his Mom made on every visit. I haven’t thought about this since his passing and it actually brought a smile to my face….Yum! :drool: Oh and another 2.5lbs drop last week so in total I'm 16lbs down since Xmas :headbang:
Brew, Delilah, anybody else on a diet: IGNORE THIS POST!!!!! :D

I just got back from the grocery store. I found a recipe this morning for something called "Milky Way Cake". Yep, you melt 8 milky way bars in a stick of butter and add to the cake batter. Then you melt another 3 with another stick of butter and make a frosting with it. Of course, it's an old recipe and called for Oleo rather than butter. Even though I'm actually old enough to remember Oleo, I can't bring myself to use it. Also, of course the grocery store didn't have the bars, so I had to buy several bags of minis and wing it. Once I recover from hitting the grocery store on a Friday afternoon, I'm going to give it a try. It sounds just like a cake my grandmother used to make (and yes, she used Oleo, lol).

Margaritas 325 – 450 calories each. Slenderitas still 210…Bummer!!
Thanks everyone! I had a great day today, and my mother is taking me to my favorite Mexican restaurant:D So its fresh guacamole, shrimp enchiladas and top shelf margaritas for me tonight:toast:

WAAAAASSSSUUUUP!! How’s my brother from a different Mother. I hope if Vapefest comes to Vegas in Sept. that we’ll be able to vape a bit and toss back a few. Meeting all of Trippyville would be awesome! :vapor:

Morning Brewski! Congratz on your additional 1.5 :thumbs: I had another nil weigh in :glare: But if I'm being honest, the exercise quotient is lacking :facepalm: :laugh:

I'm with Mrs. Brew -- love love love my HL! :wub: I don't think I can use a regular car again -- in a regular car I felt as if SUVs and other trucks were closing in on me and I would let muffled screams here and there :blush: My HL cured me -- for some reason I feel much safer in it :thumbs:

Sounds like a monster Pietro! I bet it'll be awesome!
Gratz on the weight loss Brew. You go!

Just put the cake in the oven. If it turns out anything near as good as the batter.... I now understand the author's comments on her blog: the hardest decision was whether to bake the cake or just grab a spoon and eat the batter! :D

Reidus-- you are putting your new range through it's paces! That cake sounds absolutely decadent! :drool:

Willow, Brew, Pietro -- my hat is off to all of you! Building your own computers from scratch?! That is utterly mind boggling to me! I watched my DH upgrade his 27 inch Mac's hard drive to Solid State and it took him an hour and a half just to do that! All of the teeny tiny screws, and so many of them... I was scared just watching! :ohmy: :laugh:

Way to go you guys!!! :thumbs:

I'm with you Delilah. I"m not in the least mechanically inclined. Though I think Pietro custom-ordered his new machine, rather than building it himself.

Moring Tripsters!! Wow Willow Brew and Pietro I'm jelly over those beasts of machines! and as Delilah said about NY Vapefest pics or didn't happen lol :p.

Brew I agree I cant wait to meet Tripsters at the Vegas Vapefest.

Bert I really hope you and the crew can make it to Vapefest in Vegas but if not I would be more then willing to help get trippy's some presence there.

On another note the part time job I had gotten to help with bills while waiting on getting my real job back has just completely disappointed me. I went in yesterday and gave them notice because they weren't willing to work with me on scheduling. They insisted I still had to work 5 days a week and couldn't work the 20 hours they give me on weekends and 2 nights a week. Then insisted that during the week I had to be there at a time I would still be at my other job. So I had to turn that down and gave notice. Now they say they want me to stay till the 20th at my current schedule or I wont be rehire-able. Of course they know full well I cant because I go back around the 15th. I wanted to keep the job but they have really left me with no choices.

I just find it hypocritical they are insisting on the 20th when they made it clear they don't have to give notice on anything nor do we as employees and can end our time together at any time when I started there back in Nov during training. So the fact they want more notice then I'm giving or else I am not not rehire-able just blows my mind.

I just cant win. I cant tell my real job so sorry you have to wait till I come back. I cant get my current part time to work with me and stay. Without burning any bridges. Its a no brainer I'm told by those closest to me. I know that of course but that just isn't me. I learned a long time ago not to burn bridges but neither job is leaving me any choice and its not right. What ever happened to professional courtesy and knowing that if you allow an employee to do the right thing for their previous job they will do the same for you?

Anyway hope you all have a great day. Going to pop Advil's now I have such a headache over this.

Awww TJ! {{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}

That blows that they would mark you as not hire-able in the future. Way to loophole the "At Will" contract :glare:

More hugs! {{{{{{{{{{{{{TJ}}}}}}}}}}}}}

Thanks D /hugs back
And that's my thoughts exactly why say we have an "At Will" when we really don't. I thought giving 1 week was more then fair for both employers. Guess not and depending on what happens between now and next Fri depends what I will have to do.
