Hi, I will take a pic of my old one when I get home. They are a Wood VV mod. One of my autustic chidren got hold of mine and threw it and of course it split. The lady who used to make them doesn't ship to Australia so I had to buy this mod from For Sale.

Coralie, I'm not familiar with that mod myself. However, depending on how it split, you could potentially have it repaired (wood glue is a marvelous thing).

Yes, you would get cash and MediCal for her. You need to find your local Social Services Agency off to apply unless you can apply on line down there. She will also need a SS card.

They keep changing the names of the programs so keep an eye out for AFDC, TANF, or CalWorks.

TANF was the latest one I saw. I'll have to look into it further as the situation develops. My sister and my mother had a long talk last night. Well, less talking and more hysterical screaming/crying. We'll see how it goes,

Unless regulations have changed here in CA since I retired, that doesn't happen here. That had to the pitts, Amber. Especially losing his medical.

Cyclin wouldn't be eligible for Food Stamps (SNAP) for his sister though because they would be considered 1 FS household so Cyclin's income would have to be counted as well as his assets.

I think I would be eligible but I got off food stamps last year after this big paperwork fiasco. Then I get a letter stating they overpaid and want $750. So yeah, paying that and not going back on food stamps ever again lol

Cyclin your daughters Blu eyes are amazing and what a great Brother you are. Sorry to hear you are going through this. Will your new home be able to cope with the new arrangements?

Thanks And yes the new house is a two bedroom and the bedrooms are very large. If she moves in with us she will be sharing a room with our daughter.

Mamu doesn't make those mods anymore . Are you referring to the Minxy? They are very rare to find in the classies. You may be better served by posting some WTB ads in the classies and maybe some FB trading groups.

Sorry Mike, I've got tons of work to do Spring cleaning is ongoing! I spent three days cleaning my home office alone! I had files over 10 years old! Bills and statements and piles of college coursework I was so proud of! Folders of work that I took home from three different jobs I shred about 4 large 30 gallon drawstring trashbags of paper!

Weird, I felt like I was shredding little pieces of my history!

Now, all the greetings cards -- I don't know what I'm going to do... I'm quite sentimental about those but I can't continue keeping them all

Threw out old computer books too...

Started on closets today -- this is going to be a real struggle -- if I throw out those sizes that don't fit, am I giving up?

Sorry but the "long talk" made me giggle. That's how my mom and little sis talk. It's all screaming and crying hysteria. If there is no punching/clawing/bleeding by the end of it, the rest of us call it a good day. Those two are scary together.

Lol actually day old coffee that's still the pot w/o cream is OK to drink the next day. When I started doing that I Googled the crap out of the subject. But today, yesterday's coffee was extra zingy lol. Only needed one cup Now if no one drinks my pot of coffee I make each day I drink a half pot the first day, and the second half the next day lol
