(((((Kat)))) I did the same thing with my baby on her last night, she got all of her favorite foods. I even cooked a mini pizza for her because she loved the crust.

Thanks Tj.......we got some much needed rain, nothing to bad here. Hope it wasn't to bad for Mike.

Hope you are all having a great week!! :)

TJ, I'm so glad your package made it safely and that you are pleased!

You can't imagine how much of a help is was to me and our finances. Just a bad month around here.

Sorry I haven't been around much. We are putting Gandalf down for the big nap tomorrow and I haven't felt particularly social. Just fed him some scrambled eggs with extra cheese, the vet said he can have whatever he wants at this point. I think I'll get him some french fries later, he loves those, too.

I'll be back when I'm feeling a little better. The last several months have been full of too many hard blows without much good to balance it out, and I'm not feeling very hopeful in general. Bad moods tend to be contagious, so I'm better off whining to myself than bringing others down.

Hugs to you all and I'll pop in again soon.

((((((((((((((((Kat))))))))))))))))))))) My heart is breaking for you and for Gandalph. I know he has been struggling for some time and you have been struggling right along with him, hoping for the best and doing everything you could to help him make it. I am being forward in saying this, but please, when you take him, go back there with him and hold him in your arms and love him, and kiss him, and sing lullabyes to him as he makes his journey. It will be one of the hardest things you have ever done, but you are doing it for Gandalph, that he may pass peacefully feeling your love. When I did this with my cats I had difficulty keeping myself under control, but focusing on the fact I was sending them off and wanted it to be peaceful helped me greatly. Of course I lost it after they were gone, but that was okay. I know it sounded awful as no one in the waiting room would even glance my way when I came out with my sweet baby in my arms. And it's okay if you do lose it. That is to be expected of animal lovers.

Sweet journey Gandalph. Wait for mama on the other side.....

This pains me....I had to put down my two IGs a few years back only a couple of months apart from each other...I've been rooting for Gandalf.....I know he fought the good fight

I have had a couple of eventful days, one of the medications I was on caused a huge spike in my Blood Pressure and all hell broke loose when my family Doctor found out I was put on it. I was rushed to her surgery, little did I know my blood pressure had spiked anyway all is well now although I feel like a truck has run me over.

Kat me to. I have stayed each time except ONCE and that ONCE HAS haunted me for years. It's a personal decision only you can make and I send as much strength as you need to make the journey for him as gentle as possible. Gee I hate this sorrow.

Sun, I do that each time I have to make that decision - I stay with them until the end.

Hang tough, kat.

Good day! There were some light showers earlier here in wheat ridge, followed by a loud boom outside, and now the power is out. Hopefully this won't last too long!

We lost our power here in Mass. too. That must have been one hell of a storm. If it weren't for my Sprint hot spot an my iPad, I wouldn't have been able to have any fun at all!

So, today's the day. I'm sending loving thoughts to you and Gandalf. This is one of the hardest things. These critters mean so much to us. In all of my troubles over the last few years, it my babies that have kept me going. I tell Dave all the time: you have to stay with me forever. It selfish, but I think he knows how much I've depended on him.

What your doing is very brave. We love you!
