Bert! Sweet rainbow of colors

Damselle -- If you use ECF to upload pics, ECF reduces them- a lot!

Here's a few ways I use to post pics:

1. Imgur -- like photobucket, you can create a free account and then upload pictures there and use the image bb code... copy the code and paste into your posts...

2. Photobucket -- same as Imgur

3. Using a photo from the web without up/downloading - by right clicking and selecting the "view image location" option, copying the link, and then pasting the address into the "insert images" option in the Reply post menu, and pasting the url info into the "From URL" tab, deselecting "Retrieve remote file" blah blah, and hitting okay.

Love the kittehs

Thanks honey. I'll give this a try the next time!!

Fudgey - just briefly looking on the map, it looks like TWC is call the storms a bit south of Mike, and south of OKC?

It is really hard to figure out where they are talking about since I know NOTHING of the area. LOL
Oh! They are talking to the Mayor of Moore right now, he said the power just went out, and they are taking cover. :(

(the Mayor is on the phone while hiding in his jewelry store vault!)

OMG ... watching TWC is making my head hurt!

They are showing radar patterns, talking about rain cooled air out-flow, warm in-flow, all sorts of colors in their display, they are drawing "circles" and "hooks", video from people driving around ..... it's all REALLY confusing.

TWC is often my background noise. I'm on a first name basis with their forecasters! Lol

They are having tornados in the same place it happened last time :(:(

Amber and I are fine. I know they had a bad storm go through where Mikes lives earlier....hope he checks in soon!

What's going on over there? Hope you will all be ok.

the really big storms are in OKC right now. Lots of straight line winds knocking down power lines and stuff :(

Mike is safe from these storms :)

Hi Tripsters!

Quick question. Since I've been mostly browsing the thread over the last week, I'm a little confused.

Is there a Trippy sale this weekend?

I feel that after the crapstorm of a week, I would like to buy myself a wee present, and will wait to do so if we are having a sale. I have three weaknesses - dogs, clothes, and Trippies.

No offense Fudgey .... but I think I would be moving. LOL
Or really good insurance and an underground "Dooms Day" type bunker.

This happens pretty much every year, yeah?

I know right.....LOL Wish we could put in a storm shelter, it really sucks living on a corner lot where most of your yard is city easement. :glare:

Yep, every spring and fall. My daughter and I were looking at tornado history for Enid and there hasn't been one here since the early 1900's. They are all around us but never has hit the town.

We don't get anything up here except rain ... lots of rain.

Well, we did have that mountain blow up 30 yrs or so back, but that's a 1-in-100,000 year type of thing. LOLOL

Sounds like you're in good shape, there are far worse weaknesses to have ;-)

Not sure on the sale thing, I don't recall any specifics mentioned other than Bert promising some pics of upcoming tips

Glad you're in a good spot, Fudgey. Hope any other Tripsters in tornado country are hunkered down somewhere safe
