In the clouds
Well, I've been bitten by the puppy bug! After spending the week with this love,

I've decided it's time. Now I have to decide between another IG or a miniature schnauzer. Luckily, there are breeders nearby for both (though none in LA). Here's an 11 day-old Black/Silver schnauzer:

and here's a 16-day old IG, along with her parents

Their both females. Tara used to have a mini-schnauzer and they're great dogs, but I do love my Iggys. Decisions decisions.

They've both got puppies available right now, but I need time to get my house ready and get supplies, etc. (I gave away Ringo's crate, toys and all that after he passed). I can guarantee that Samantha my cat won't be happy at all, lol.

Puppy! :w00t:

Congratz on getting another doggie Reidus! :toast: Like Sun, I wish you'd consider a rescue - but I think the babies have already won your heart  Either way, giving a home to a doggie boy or girl is a beautiful thing :toast:

Good evening Trippyville,
Doing some minor late-spring cleaning around the house and helped the Mrs. move patio furniture to place new rugs. Being lazy today and too busy yesterday so 2 days = no gym. Not working out and doing very little feels like a total sin these days  I think I maybe a Cardioholic!
I would have never imagined a year ago that I'd ever spend 8-10 hours a week working out. Taking Mom out to dinner and then planning a VERY relaxed evening. Will definitely have to get back to it tomorrow.

I hope everyone is having a great day and wishing you all a great week upcoming. Brew

Puppy update, lol. Tomorrow, I'm looking at a 12 week old Min. Schnauzer put at noon. At 3:00, I'm going to be going to look at an Iggy, unless I fall in love with the Schnauzer pup. Then, if that doesn't work out, I'm heading to Cairo Ga on my way back to NO on Tuesday to look at a 7 week Mini schnauzer pup, male this time. Here's a video of the pup and his sister (already gone)

Howdy Tripsters!

Just got back from my Mom's house. Getting the boats ready to put into the water and generally making my hubby do things my mom can't. Yeah, I'm honest, I helped, but not much.

Kill, I date myself sometimes as well. I once wore an rem concert t-shirt to my last job and realized that some of my co-workers weren't even alive when I went to that show...

Reidus, please let me know if you end up with the IG. I have so many hand knitted sweaters and various other IG fitting only items that I would love to find a new home for and would be happy to send your way. IGs are such oddly shaped that I ended up making Gandalf a lot of his winter wear, and also? I'm lazy, I will make a little dog sweater, but don't have the patience to knit one for a person.

I almost ended up with a new pup myself this weekend. I went to the SPCA at my Mom's and they had this little 6 week old puppy that someone had literally tossed out of a car. (Someone saw them do it) Broke my heart and the temptation was fierce. But after thinking on it over night I realized I was trying to save that dog because I couldn't save Gandalf and I really need to give myself more than two days to grieve. Also, we still have our 15 year old pitbull and I think she needs to be top dog for a while as over the last several months she hasn't gotten as much attention as she should have due to the G-man's needs. I think she's enjoying being an only dog for now. I'll tell you having her has really saved me. I never had to come home to a dogless house, which might have destroyed me. She seems to know I need her right now and hasn't left my side. :)

Sometimes when bad things happen it's hard to see how rich you still are. Thanks again to my Trippykin for all the support, I really don't know how I would have gotten through this last year without you all!

And Reidus, more puppy pics when you decide!!!! :D

Blu, after seeing your climbing rose from hell, I thought I'd take a pic of the wild roses from hell lol Pretty sure they really are from hell, you cannot touch them without being stabbed. Wearing heavy work gloves just leaves you with gloves pinned to your hands by thorns LOL
These started out as 4 tiny little plants picked up on a whim. They are pretty sad and scraggly this year because we haven't pruned them since last summer and the only water they have gotten this year is from rain. I included the kennel with measurements for size reference lol
Also, Please ignore my jungle of weeds and overgrown lawn. It's lawn/garden care day today and tomorrow and this is a before picture lol. Charlie's not thrilled, I stuck her in the kennel so the lawn could get mowed.

Kat, I agree with your decision completely. It's taken me almost 2 years before I'm ready to have another dog. And don't worry; pics and/or videos will definitely happen. :D

Good Morning Trippy Nation!!!!

Fudgey -- sorry about your tips. I chipped the mouthpiece of my little orange striped one but am waiting for the backlog to clear before I send it in.

Reidus - can't wait to see what puppy you choose!

Kat -- give yourself time. You'll know when it's right.

Brew -- never told you -- WHOO-HOO on your exercise regimen and weight loss!!!

Coralie -- enjoy that blanket. Love the pics of Meredith, and YOU, YOU are looking great!

Summer is here and I have been working my SSA off getting the backyard into shape!
