Hallo. Busy week! Work is always busy before and after vacation!

Nice tips Bert. I'm trying to lay low on getting more stuff right now, as I'm over-extended. We'll see how long that lasts.

Reid, that's a real cute pup!

Amber, I'm glad your getting things investigated. Other than what others have already asked, I wonder about seizures. With a family history of bipolar though, it would be good for you to get evaluated. These don't sound like trauma related events....usually, one "sees things" related to the trauma, not bugs! Sounds pretty awful. I agree with Sun about the insurance, people get sick! That's what insurance is for. If they try to cancel, I think you would have some legal recourse and could likely even appeal with a regulatory agency. Take care girl!

If you are having trouble with the clippers send her to the groomers for thee first couple of times so they can train her and she won't see you as the meanie. I had to do that for my last Poodle and it worked really well. She was so pleased when I started to groom her again she never played up again.

Porsche is looking really stylish, DW!
Speaking of which, Tara found Mom's old clippers and we gave Sophie her first grooming today. Up to now she's been the sweetest, most biddable darling imaginable. Get some clippers to her and that flies out the window, lol. She hated every second of it. I think she looks pretty great now. And interestingly, since she's been groomed, she seems to be a lot more playful than before.

Thanks, Coralie. I've already planned on using groomers. Unfortunately, she's behind on her shots, and until they're done, I'm not taking her to groomers, dog parks, etc. Tara really wanted to see how she looked trimmed before I left for NO. Which is today. I'm looking forward to being home; the drive, not so much.

beautiful work. just astounding! :headbang:

Aren't they gorgeous? They both be mine :toast: The beauty on the left is a custom I ordered that Bert made me and that super tip on the right is Freddy's first Ming. I named it Autumn Ming because to me it looks like sheaves of wheat on cranberry glass. My fave though? My little Walkabout. He had such trouble finding his way here! I think this will always be my favorite tip and I use it most of the time.

Wise decision. I have to give some distemper shots to my four babies today. Then another in two weeks, then wait a week to go get spayed/neutered, and then they are off to their new homes! I need to get them gone before the end of the month when Sis comes to visit as she is allergic to cats. She's fine with my six, keeps her bedroom door closed, washes hands after petting, etc. She knew I had babies here and asked, "You don't still have 12 cats there do you?" "Nope, not anymore", I said. I didn't tell her I have ten

I spoke too soon about leaving today. My cat is in hiding. I can usually get her to come out by shaking the food bowl, but not today. That's okay: I don't have class until 6:00 tomorrow night and it's a short one. I'll pack up the car this evening and when she shows up for her nightly can of canned food, put her ... in the kennel after she eats. There's a litter box in there so she should be fine. We'll get out of here at the crack of dawn and get to NO by lunchtime.

Good Afternoon(just barely) Trippyville,

Well it's now just a week until our trip out to California. Going out to celebrate my Nephew's college graduation. He's getting a Mechanical Engineering degree and already has a gig at Seagate. Ought to be a good time. :toast:

While we're there Mrs. Brew and I will be driving up to Ashland, OR to visit my oldest/longest childhood friend plus do a Shakespearean culture dip since Ashland is the Shakespeare capital of the US. I think they have some kind of Shakespearean performance going everyday but Christmas day. I will also get to mingle with interesting culture from the perspective of a mid-westerner come Saturday when all the commune-folk come down to the town farmers market for shopping. Ought to be a Trippy experience. They usually congregate in the downtown area and the wafting scent of recreational herbs will fill the air. The federales are very laid back and in general it's very fun, festival-like experience. People watching as a non-participating bystander of course...

I am/was hoping I might get a chance to see Sashwa in Alcatraz but that's still up in the air on my side. I'm hoping my Sister and BIL will understand if we come there to visit everybody but them   Well that's how battling siblings end up I believe.

I love the little one Reid. Makes me want for a dog but with our travels the cats just work better. Our house-sitter also prefers felines so it's a win-win for the kittehs!

Wishing everyone a great Hump Day. Brew

Sashwa,
I appreciate that but I'm still going to see what works. My brother-in-law mentioned a day trip to Monteray bay but other than that we may be golden. We've done Pier 39 (Bubba Gump Shrimp) before as well as the typical San Fran tours so not sure if we might convince the group to try to swing by your area. Heck even for a quick cup-o-joe. In any event, I'll keep you in mind.
We're taking my only relative (Uncle) on my Dad's side and Mom so they can help keep my siblings busy :D . We'll be staying in Livermore so not to painful to get into town outside of rush hours. The BART is only a couple of exits from where they live in Livermore but I'm not sure if I could get close enough to you. Brew

Brew, don't worry about me. Enjoy your family while you are here.

Hello trippy kin! Been way under the weather.....almost 6 feet.....up and around slow but sure. Hope everyone is well and tripped up real good. I am in dire need of a new "recovery" tip. Have not kept up with the newest and prettiest. How about some suggestions?
Hugs to all and thank you for a full pm box and sweet delilahs posts on my home page. Made me smile when logging in.
Have a trippy good evening and pray for the collapsed building tragedy in philadelphia. Missing people being sought by our heroes in uniform. One death thus far and many walked away! Thanks to God all my family are safe but many need prayers.

No one in my family has ever had seizures so I dont really suspect that. I mean, can you run and rip your clothes off during one? Im feeling much better today though. I took some torch time to relax last night. Its funny how to some people torch time is work. To me, it's very meditative. It's repetitive and quiet and I get to spend time with my favorite element, fire. What can I say? I'm a Leo. I like fire. It calms me somewhere in my soul, always has. LOL
