We've lost a wonderful person in Giojack. He was also a Trippykin REOnaut. He was beloved of all who knew him - a very special person. Breaks my heart when especially wonderful people like him leave the world. Today's rainy weather matches my weepy spirit. His friends and family are in my thoughts and prayers.

It's definitiely not feeling like a Friday. Saw the post regarding Jack and realized that this ride is a short one. Thinking of mortality a lot lately and seeing this just pounds it home once again. People like Jack just should not be allowed to pass. They leave too big a hole when the go.

Sorry to hear the sad news. I did not know him well, but Bert had hooked me up with him for some DIY recipes and he seemed like a good guy.
And you are so right Brew, this is a short ride. We must try to take advantage of as much as we can in this lifetime and never be afraid to let people know how much they mean to us, because you just never know what's around the corner.

Hello everyone, I am saddened to hear about Jack as well. He was a good man, and an amazing writer, dancer, law enforcer, vaper, and friend. Jack lived a full life and touched a lot of people with his kindness and sense of humor. I will miss him. A quote comes to mind by Terence McKenna:
We are like caterpillars contemplating pupation.
No longer will I chew on the cabbage leaves.
No longer will I spend my time moving around on the underside of the foliage.
Life must be a preparation for the transition to another dimension…
Jack was a special caterpillar, and I am sure he is making for an even better butterfly. Goodbye for now my friend, we will fly again together some day!

I'd forgotten how exhausting have a puppy is! Thankfully the she-demon's sleeping for now. I've got to get her some chew-toys, if only to save my toes and hands, lol.
