I was just reading this week's issue of the Economist, and was so excited to see this article that I decided to come to this forum and post it under the heading "The Economist Speaks Out in Favor of E-Cigarettes." I'm glad to see that someone already beat me to it! This is no small victory for us - when a publication with such a high level of credibility as The Economist speaks out in our favor, that advances our media struggle by leaps and bounds!

That is an editorial, which is even better than an article.

And one of the best editorials yet written on the issue.

The Economist is a very well written and respected international newsweekly out of the UK. I was a subscriber for many years.

A couple of people over on "Campaigning" are advocating sending CLEANED (to avoid being accused of harm) ashtrays to assorted folks like the FDA or ALA or whoever....maybe send an ashtray and the 8 myths page and the New Zealand page to our local science editor?


(Trouble is, it looks like my local papers don't HAVE a science editor...they just run AP stories )
