I was always looking at the claim of youth ecig use doubling and thought it missed context. Appears a Michigan Prof has looked closer at the data. His claim only .7% had never smoked a cigarette. Another bust to the gateway?

CDC: Teen Smoking Rate Lowest in 22 Years - TIME

Yeah and they STILL managed to put a negative spin on it. The most-positive the "establishment" can ever say is "we don't know."

If they don't know, they say they know and the news is bad. If they KNOW we are right, they say we don't know. So I guess we must be right.

Screw the data. They don't care:

“The increased use of e-cigarettes by teens is deeply troubling,” said CDC Director Dr. Tom Frieden in a statement about teen tobacco use going down. “Nicotine is a highly addictive drug. Many teens who start with e-cigarettes may be condemned to struggling with a lifelong addiction to nicotine and conventional cigarettes.”

Hint hint.

“In my judgment, the future lies in how effectively FDA can regulate cigarettes and other [nicotine] products.”
