5 pawns and halo both make a certain type(s) of liquid. Halo was formulated for early devices/ hardware and could be very strong using modern e-cigarettes. Nice liquids, shame about the price.
5 pawns made a big impact, we still don't really know much about the exact flavors but they used sweet & strong flavors some of which were reputed to contain less than ideal ingredients.
Both are expensive and probably unnecessarily flavoured. Try something less 'premium' as premium is just a word for expensive and usually over- flavoured.

Guessing you are in the US, I can't help. (I'm UK)

However, you could start your search looking around using the this forum as a guide. I hear names like VapeWild and MT Baker crop up.
Let me just explain a little more though... not all cheap juice is bland and not all expensive juice is good.
Premium liquid is an invention of the marketing men... it means nothing.
Any liquid that doesn't cheap out on the flavor and uses as much VG (if not more) than PG is as high quality as anything else really.

I make liquid for about $2 (30ml) and some of it has more flavoring than $18 premium liquid... so taking into account I use the same flavorings, then you can see the profit is quite large if you can convince somebody to pay $18. I could also make liquid for under $1 by using stronger or less expensive flavors.

The 'going rate' for e-liquid in the UK is about $3-$6 per 10ml.
I used to pay $7.00 for 30ml and it was no less premium or tasty.

From what you say, you are looking for pleasant liquid with no overpowering sweetness or taste.

Just don't google "best US e-liquid" as the results will be the same old over-priced nonsense brands except worse, as they won't even specialize in e-liquid... they are just businesses selling stuff.
At least the 'real' juice companies actually try to make decent liquid.
5 Pawns, Cosmic Fog, Nicoticket, Avail, Johnson Creek, Evo, Suicide, Cutwood - at least they know what they are doing. You might not like them and they may be very, very expensive.

Gold Seal is a brand that makes some nice liquids.
The only help I can offer on reducing sweetness
is to dilute the liquid you have with plain unflavoured
PG/VG USP. I've always found most liquids have too much flavour and too much VG for my liking.

I always dilute with PG.
A 30ml. bottle fully diluted gives me 60ml.
of liquid at the flavour, VG level and sweetness I like.
YMMV. Cheers.

When I first was attempting to quit smoking flavors were not for me and I was on the search to find the closest e-Liquid to Marlboro which I smoked. I tried many tobacco flavored e-Liquids until I found Buck Naked American and Turkish Tobaccos which I used to mix. Although at first I said I would never be vaping fruit or desert flavored e-Liquids that eventually will change as the taste buds and your sniffer heals and then the world of flavors will be a new experience. Just stay with whatever works for you or the flavor you settle on for now.

Good Luck and Vape On Safely

Good comment. I remember more than a few of us diluting Halo liquids when we jumped from 8 watts (eGo) to 12-14 watts (iStick 20w)

I tried 'Tribeca' at 18w in a Subtank (the first ever one) and it didn't go well.
Here's what Halo say about it
Tribeca is regarded as one of the top E-liquid flavors in the entire industry—and if you’ve tried it, you already know why. This Spinfuel Choice award winner’s smooth tobacco notes blend with just a touch of vanilla and caramel to produce a satisfying E ..

Spinfuel Choice award...my... oh my... must be good. (Sarcasm alert)

Hi there vapephantom
Asking other folks what is a good juice is probably the most expensive way to find a juice you like. One of my favorites is Molly by Modus Vapors. It is a strawberry sour belt so it isn't very sweet but it comes in 60 ml size which is a bit expensive just to try it out. You are probably best off trying the sample sizes available from many juice manufacturers including Vape Wild, Mount Bakers Vapor and Vapor Vapes. Personally I'd suggest starting with Vapor Vapes as they don't have the candy like flavors found at the other two but they do have a great selection to choose from.

yes, in my very few experience, the different driving power makes the taste various. I tried Tribeca with my Aspire nautilus mimi, from 9w to 20w, but not good for me. too sweet and made my throat uncomfortable. i will not use Tribeca again.

Good suggestion. and how did you know i googled "best e-liquid"? lol

I guess manual mixing is the eventual way to get more freedom on the juice taste. especially after FDA forbidden the e-cig.

Wait until the day you finally find a flavor you like! I must have tried 100's of flavors before I finally found one I enjoyed and then after that the flavors just exploded.
