First day on this site. Been thinking about e-cig now for about a year but I have always loved the real smoke feeling (15 years now). I have no knowledge, no experience, and this is the beginning for me. Seems like even the NOOBs have a ton of info here. Looking for a starting point and ecf seems to be that place. Any tips or product ideas for a total new guy would be great. Thanks in advance for the advice!

welcome to the forum. First of all, definitely do it. It is so easy to quit smoking regular cigarettes by switching to an e-cig. As far as what to get...there are so many choices. I started with V2cigs. They were a good starting point but for very heavy smokers like myself I found I was killing batteries to quickly and not getting enough flavor or vapor. I recently switched to an ego system which I love so far. Start with something. i think no matter which system you use you will eventually switch to something else anyway. It seems once you get into vaping you get hooked and are always looking to upgrade your system for better performance. Keep in mind no matter what you get it's not exactly like smoking real cigarettes but I think you'll find it's close enough and you will soon learn to enjoy e-cigs more than analogs.

This is the best advice. I learned by doing...and I'm still learning.
