Hiya! I'm new to this site. I have been vaping for about a year now. I have tried tons of different devices like the ego twist, vmax, the mvp, tesla, etc. This year for Valentine's day my husband and I decided to jump into the world of mech mods and rba's. Figured I would come here and look around for a better understanding and tips. Any links or info would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I've pretty much left eGos behind since I got into mods & rebuildables, but it took a whole lot of watching YouTube videos & reading /r/ecigs to get a grasp on what's what. A few months later, I got the hang of it and started building my own coils and learning more everyday. It's been a pleasurable experience so far with e-cigs and definitely glad I ultimately kicked the cigarette habit for vaping.

Hola! I'm her husband! I've been recoiling many things over the 2 years we've been vaping but I am having such a hard time with the steam turbine... It hits great for about 3 drags and then gets unbearably hot on the drag and burns the crap out of your throat. I've coiled it around 1.2 ohm even and same thing. Tried single coil, dual coil, higher ohm, lower ohm, new mesh, re-oxidizing the mesh, 28 gauge, 32 gauge and even drilled out bigger air holes. I'm out of ideas, anyone have any suggestions?

is there two air holes or one? on my Kfun lite+ I did two different coils, a regular micro coil and a chimney micro coil ( vertical ). The regular micro was a very warm vape and got hot after a few chain vapes, plenty flavor yada yada. But the Chimney coil, is what i'm vaping right now, It's a very smooth cool vape. Because it's vertical it lines up right with the airhole, causing it to always run cool cause the air is flowing right through the coil instead of on it from the bottom. Might just be me, but this is a great Coil setup IMO and I love the smoothness of it, not to mention the flavor you get with the wicking.
