Was stressed to hell today. Reached for an analog for the first time in 9 days (I have a half a pack sitting around from when I got my 510).

Couldn't smoke it. It didn't taste horrible, but there was something about it that just didn't work. Almost like the smoke was made of castor oil or something. Threw the thing away after 2 drags. Brimmed up my PV, topped off and got a fresh batt and vaped HARD for 10 mins, feels like I just sucked down two analogs and I'm smiling.

This thing WORKS. I'm still addicted as hell but I don't think i could go back to analogs, period.

I wonder if those sneaky Chinese .......s put something in their juice that makes you hate cigarettes, because this is a pretty much universal reaction after vaping for even a short time.

Where is the FDA to look into this?????

Edit: Why do I have a feeling those lacking the sarcasm bone will be on me for this?
Edit: It's sarcasm folks, the new trendy way to express yourself in the new century!!

Deadcat I cannot believe your remark. I am offended. How dare you claim that these liquid contain anything other than beautiful magic and rainbows!

I'm telling your parents. I hope you get grounded too! :p

And powdered unicorn horns. And liquid happy.

And smiles.

Ok, I've gone off the deep end.

Occasionally, when I'm drinking (whiskey*) I feel like my 510 just isn't enough, so I'll 'bum a drag' from a friend that's smoking analogs, and that's all I need. Just that one single drag, and I give it back to them. My 510 is just fine, but I need a reminder every once and a while.

I was drinking some whiskey tonight myself. Bummed a cig from my brother.

Now, I use x-high nicotine liquid in my e-cigs all day every day and it's never made me sick..

But one cigarette made me puke. Obviously, the whiskey contributed to that hugely, but I know how to drink and I felt just fine before I had an analog (If I had really drank that much, I'd be passed out right now instead of typing this.. it's only midnight).

It's ridiculous. E-cigs don't do that to me. Unbelievable. I always knew that there was a big difference between e-cigs and analogs, but tonight I really, really learned.

drinking and smoking go hand-in-hand. it's just a great mix. I actually went back to smoking analogs a few months back after a few cigs while drinking on the weekend, which led to a cigarette here and there at work, and then I'd have a few at home after work.

I wasn't smoking anywhere near as much as I used to, but it was enough to make me feel ashamed. so I bought a Janty Stick and a few new 901 parts, and rededicated myself to becoming a non-smoker. and in order to make sure I don't get tempted again, I have quit drinking alcohol all together. I realized that it was the common denominator, and it'll just have to be part of my past from now on. I haven't had one single urge to smoke.

I love being able to breathe again.

I'm a whiskey/whisky dork. I've currently got 4 bottles of Pappy at various ages, 2 bottles of Stag, a bottle of Bushmills 21 single, and a bottle of Highland park 18. I really really like my fine brown liquor.

I've found 2 things.

1) The first drink (I normally only have 2 when I drink) is when the analog-lust kicks in. What I have been doing is ignoring it, and when the first drink is done power vape for about 5 mins. The nicotine rush seems to curb the need.

2) Yeah sure pappy 15 tasted good and I could come up with adequate tasting notes in the past. I am picking out flavor profile subtlties that I NEVER dreamed of before, not to mention when I'm nosing. WOW.

4 Days later, and I just walked out with an analog and puffed it for 3-4 drags, and yeah, nearly puked, but the taste on my tongue just killed it for me. I'm ignorant and have to teach myself a lesson here and there. I came in, hit a beer a few times and went back to my trusty 510. All better. Analogs suck!

totallt agree- they must be sneaking something in to the liquid! I tried to have a few puffs of an analog last night- 25 hours after my last one. I had 2 puffs. The thing was digusting. I used to smoke menthols, and am using mint juice, but man, that cig didn't even taste remotely menthol. I'm sure menthol smokers know what I mean- my menthol light tasted like a full flavor non-menthol. Yuck.

And I am absolutely thrilled to have that reaction! No chance I'll be picking up a cig anytime soon!
