Tomorrow is the 2 week mark for me.
I got my first P/V 6-17 and immediately cut .... logs down to 2-4 a day from 30 years of 30-40. I used to wake up in the middle of the night - sometimes 2 or 3 times - just for a smoke. When they asked me what I wanted for lunch 10 minutes after giving birth to my daughter in 1986 - my answer was 'don't care' - I need my slippers and where do I go for a smoke.
Got my Screwdriver 2 weeks ago tomorrow. Last night (deadline for the magazine I publish and lots of stress) I 'treated' myself to a fire stick. 3 puffs and I put it out. Just because it no longer 'hit the spot - or took care of what I thought was a craving for one.
I will continue to allow myself a puff or two if I really want one - (first puff last weekend made me literally gag)
just to remind me I have cherry, grape, coconut, ry4 and apple that are much tastier than that 'Natural' American Spirit tobacco.
We all do this our own way. And it isn't even the right choice for everyone.
For me it works.
