bamdet, he came for answers and made his decision. He didn't ask for a second guess. Inhaling the substances in e-liquid could easily compared to drinking coffee, or soda. Why do you drink caffeine? Are you really addicted, or need it, or do you do it sometimes just because you like it?

If he wants to do something every once and a while because he likes it then I say right on.

I explained my reasons. I want to smoke, I am giving into the urge. Just, making a smart choice about it.

Why did you start smoking? I assume you started smoking analogs then switched to e-cigs.

It's very interesting to see someone interested in vaping without being addicted to analogs. Much of the rationale behind e-cig bans, such as in NY, are claims that e-cigs are potential "gateway drugs" to analogs which I believe to be a complete myth.

Anyway, i'm pleased to see the positive responses on this thread, as I see any support for vaping as a good thing.
