Asmodus is no longer warranting to P4Y including tempcontrol devices. IPV line is not covered!

Whatever. I can't believe this community still stands behind crap companies like this but to each their own.

Whats the alternative, Evolv? Talk about faulty devices and short/bad warranties, I won't even get into underpowered(excluding the DNA200 with who knows what bugs). They don't even have updatable firmware to fix there broken chips, and they re relese broken updates and make u pay full price.

You are using a power regulator in a box, do u expect it to last forever? I Have an 2 IPV2 that still work perfectly purchased at launch, and an ipv4 that's flawless. My first one had an issue and was exchanged at the shop.

Sigelei? At least they seem to test their products before pushing them out the door. Also, Evolv has a 1 year warranty on their chips. Yes, the dna 40 had problems, but people seem to forget what Evolv has brought to the table. Matt from suckmymod sums up p4y well in his IPv4 review.

Lol P4Y and Sigelei are the same company..

Evolv introduced wattage, what 5 years ago, what have they done since then but fall behind

Actually they aren't. They farm out their device manufacturing to the same factory, but they are entirely different companies.
I'm not sure what point your trying to make, besides utterly hating P4Y for no given reason. They are all owned by the same company, which the chinese government or gov officials prob somehow owns anyway. P4Y does a great job in providing safe low cost mods to the masses, with exceptionally more features than 95% of companies. So does Sigelei.

Also, Evolv only provided a 4-Month warranty, until over 60% of there DNA40's were being returned for glitched out screens within a month which they still have not fixed . In which they ship out an "updated" version with the same bugs as the one u send in. Most DNA vendors still only provide 4 months, even though the chip is "extended" to one year due to bad PCB's.

The reason I hate p4y is simple. They roll out new devices every other month without proper testing. You've got IPv4 units melting because of it. Then you have p4y claiming that they're removing the charge board from current ipv4s due to the fact that customers didn't use the board? BS. They do that janky crap all the time. Meanwhile, people like you are comparing a screen glitch to devices that are literally melting or catching fire. I've yet to see a melted Evolv device.

Google it, Evolv has devices that have caught fire as well. Do u have every technical company, like Samsung or Apple or Hp or Dell, because they have sometimes weekly technical releases in different forms, factors and power. I'm pretty sure all mod developers do. Would you rather P4U not release new mods like the S versions and complete new designs and sizes and stay stagnant like Evolv and release 20 watts increase every two years? I think you are forgetting that every DNA40 mod EVER MADE has a defective Printed Circuit Board! They still have not fixed it what 10v's later and they dont plan on fixing it either. Would it be better to have to send your chip back or buy a new one to upgrade software flaws. This seems like more of a fanboy hate then one with facts behind it.

Newsflash! This is the new order of technical companies, release fast, fix later and repeat... You cant blame that on P4U as they are trying to please the market while staying ahead. And still, if there are any delays all hell breaks loose, and u wonder why the rush.. Also dont even compare the DNA200 because it hasnt been released and theres little to no confirmed information, besides the hundreds of conflicting accounts from beta testers.

I've had/have 3 P4Y products. 1 ipv2s-currently waiting on me to rewire the 510 connector. 1 ipv4 silver that had horrible 510 threads which the vendor would not even return emails or calls about. Thanks to some great advice on here, I put a heat sink on and salvaged it...now performing well. And an ipv4 black that has had no issues to date, but has a heat sink on it, just in case.

Now that vaping as become my lifestyle choice, the next mod will be a higher end.

I've never had to deal with Asmodus as the ipv2s issue was after the warranty had had expired (of course) As for the silver ipv4, if the heat sink fix makes it last for a year or so, then good. Personally, it beat the heck out of jumping through the Asmodus hoops.
Your IPV2S warranty did not expire, it had a 1 year warranty, they have not been out for a year. ASMODUS may have dropped support for it, but the warranty did not expire.

That is appallingly bad.

I don't blame Asmodus' for their decision. This fiasco with the iPV product line cost them a lot of headache and grief. No replacement products, etc.

Yes, apparently as proven by their past actions and current one iPV is run by a bunch of maroons in the upper-level management. There several other Chinese companies out there that make decent quality vaping MODs.

As always, ANY product purchased is a roll of the dice especially with vaping products.
