So frustrated with this.
In September I bought a sigelei 30w tube mod for my birthday. One of the main reasons I bought it is it came with a year warranty, and having had a Vamo that failed, I wanted to make sure I was covered should something happen.
About 2 months later the mod failed. It would fire constantly whether the device was on or not. I contacted the seller who told me I would need to go through Segelei for the warrantly. I checked their website and called the number provided.
They asked me to send the device in for repairs to a Pamona CA address. At further cost to me, I sent it in. After several calls, where I was told they were reviewing the device, waiting on parts, and other various excuses, the number was no longer in service.
I checked sigelei's site again, and there was a different number for service. I called that number and was told the Paramount location was closed, and the new service location does not repair the 30w tube model, and I would again need to contact sigelei direclty.
After months and months of emails to them, they finally responded today, and informed me that the warranty on the 30W tube was not valid.
The entire email says
"Hi nathan, sorry the warranty for the 30w tubes is not valid. Sorry for the inconvenience caused to u. Hope we can get your understanding."
So in the end I spend over $100 for a device that lasted me less than 2 months.
